Things to do in Bukhara
We visited around 5pm upon arriving in Bukhara. This was opposite our hotel. They did not have any Somsa without beef left at time of visit so had chicken and chips. It was not like the picture when it arrived (small pieces of chicken rather than breaded chicken). There was also a lot of oil in the food but it was cooked well and tasted nice. Appear to be visited by tourists and locals. We went the next morning for breakfast and could see people eating sausages and egg but they told us they didn't serve breakfast. You can see into the kitchen from the main dining room which was interesting to see all the raw meat stacked up but good to see them preparing the somsa.

Complex Bukhara tower has restaurant, museum, panoramic elevator and observation desk on 3rd floor, which is on 35 m. Restaurant of Bukhara tower serve European cuisine and Italian coffee.
We visited the cafe on the ground floor of the tower for lunch. The cafe is located on M.Karimov Street, which is a short walk west of the Ark. The cafe is simply decorated with four seater tables placed around the circumference of the room. The chairs were a mix of beige, red and black. We ordered two pasta dishes and glasses of juice. Whilst waiting for our order, we walked around the room and viewed photos of Vladimir Shukhov and the many towers which he designed. We thought that the display was well done and a conversation piece. Our meal was well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. We heard that the elevator next to the tower provided access to the viewing platform, but didn't see any signage, so assumed that it was closed. There is an interesting silk road sculpture next to the restaurant showing a trader leading three camels. The beautiful Bolo Hauz mosque is a short walk south of the restaurant, and there are also a few parks where one can sit and relax.

Our tour group came here for lunch (as did several other tour groups). The entrance is up a steep winding staircase, but when you arrive it's a lovely location. They had a violinist playing standard tourist music. The food was so-so: the apps and the chicken kebobs were mediocre.
What to do and see in Bukhara, Uzbekistan: The Best Places and Tips
Bukhara, as the pearl of the Great Silk Road, is one of the world tourism centers! That is why in this ancient city, which stands at the crossroads of trade routes, opened its doors a new tourist restaurant - Theatre of the Silk Ipak Yuli.
One of very rare places in Bukhara with good food.Try beef reebs (picture is attached). There is a show at 8:00 p.m. It is kind of mixture of fashion, national dances, and theatre performance of silk history. All they wear costumes and show how silk moved from China to Europe. The performance is good to see once, I think it could be done better. Anyway good place to relax and have good meal. Can be good for both, business and casual meal with friends.

Well, for European standards, specially Italian ones, this isnât really an Amazing experience, however, it is nice for a change. The menu is extensive, you have pasta options, pizza, sushi, salads....We stayed with the pizzas. The dough wasnât incredible and the prosciutto wasnât a real one but it tasted good. We ate at the terrace outside and it was a nice environment, not a typical Middle East restaurant at all.
Where to eat Uzbek food in Bukhara: The Best Restaurants and Bars

For my late lunch I ordered fresh carrot juice, Greek salad and spaghetti Bolognese.Greek salad was too salty. So I returned it . But it came back exactly with same saltiness! Then came the spaghetti. It was watery. And you could see the water in the plate.Although I asked for âal dente âat the time of ordering, it could not be âal dente â, if itâs immersed in liquid!Well , my experience seems quite different from the majority of the reviewers. Why?I found out there are three same cooks for lunch and dinner. So itâs not the case that you have better cooks for dinner. And each cook has his own territory of food.(The stubborn cook is in charge of salad and dessert)The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with a high ceiling and beautiful decorations. Waiters are friendly and helpful. Maybe these factors may lead customers to believe food is good in this restaurant. Especially after being fed with plovs and shashliks!Maybe my experience is unique. But I would rather stay away from this restaurant.
