We ate here every day for either breakfast lunch or dinner while staying in Mooloolaba for a week. They cater for allergies and dietary restrictions really well, so many wonderful options. They have a great kids menu too. Healthy, nutritious and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. The staff was excellent. We will miss this place!

After we had an average meal further down the road, we looked for a nice place for coffee and desert. When we walked past The Piano Bar, it clearly ticked the box. The place just looks inviting, both inside and out. We found a comfortable place in the lounge chairs outside, where we received great, friendly service and excellent coffee. Good end to and enjoyable family night. Thanks so much Dirk, we're so happy to hear you enjoyed your coffee & dessert - we hope to see you again soon for lunch or dinner, we'll be very happy to have you back.

Although I worked in Munich I never really enjoyed the Bavarian specialties (particularly wild boar) and I'm not really a fish eater, so it was either pizzas or schnitzels. We opted for the chicken schnitzel ($29.50) and - honestly - one would have sufficed for us two adults! It practically covered the dinner plate, and concealed a small mound of beautifully crispy chips. The side salad was entirely wasted, I'm afraid, because the chicken was succulent, tender, moist and enhanced by the generous, fresh lemon slices they gave us. And to complement that meal a fine Pinot Grigio from Western Australia (a steep $40.00). The service Arthur (a French guy from Provence) gave us was friendly, utterly professional and welcoming. Merci beaucoup, Arthur!

The pizza base is beautiful but there was hardly any prawns and they were tiny. Dont waste money on seafood pizza. The panacotta was awful and just smothered in icing sugar. I am happy to pay the price but the food was a real disappointment. Never again. Hi June, We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience at Il Vento. We would love to invite you in for a meal for two on the house so that we may have the opportunity to improve on your recent experience. Please e-mail [email protected] to make your booking.
