I decided to try this restaurant based on a co-worker's recommendation.Location: This restaurant is pretty much in the center of Belfort, in a street perpendicular to the Faubourg de France, not far from the Sadi Carnot bridge, which crosses the Savoureuse river, and a short walk from the pedestrian area on Fbg de France. From the train station, it's about a 10-15 walk.Quality: the restaurant is a Belgian brasserie style, serving mussels in a wide variety of sauces, as well as some meat and poultry dishes, salads, desserts, and daily specials. I chose on of said specials, a "Cote de Boeuf", a nice 300gr steak for 20 euros! It was served with fries and a salad. Very nice, cooked to my liking. The selection of beers is also quite nice with a wide variety of German, Belgian and other beers.Service: the service is more bar service than restaurant service. My needs were met, the order came as requested, but noting extra. Not super friendly, but I suppose it is because they are tending the bar as well as the room, so they are hopping. If you want a typical restaurant service, then go elsewhere.Price: most entrees and specials range between 15 to 20 euros. The mussels are less, around 12 euros. A 300gr steak and a 50cl beer ran me 23.50... not too shabby.Overall, a nice place. The ambiance is very bar like, and my clothes smelled like food when I left, so definitely not your typical French restaurant experience. But that's ok, it's a very nice place if you are between friends, and you want some good food and a drink, or just a few drinks. It's a little loud, but still a nice place. Enjoy.

Based on a friend's recommendation and reviews from this site, I decided to give this place a try for dinner. I was very pleased.Location: appropriately named, this restaurant is at the foot of the hill that houses the famous Lion de Bartholdi, Belfort's famous landmark. If you go up the Fbg. de France street, continue past the Mairie (city hall) and past the Place d'Armes, you will come upon this restaurant. It's about 15 min walk from the train station and about 5 min from the Belfort highway exit.Quality: There are several menus to pick from, starting from a menu offering more basic fares, at 19 euros, up to more elaborate dishes with a 30 euros menu. I chose the 24 euros menu, and started with a ham dish, both cooked and cured ham, which was very good, followed by an entrecote (beef steak cut), very nicely cooked, served with mashed potatoes and veggies, and finished with a tiramisu, which was more cream than anything else, and slightly disappointing. But overall, good quality on the food.Service: My immediate server was friendly and apparently learning the trade. Still, he did a nice job. I didn't like my initial table and asked to change, and that was not a problem. A lady was also there, perhaps the owner, and she helped as well. No problems there.Price: the offerings are fairly priced, on par with other restaurants for the area, and quite affordable. A good quality vs. food ratio.Overall, a very nice evening. I definitely recommend trying this place, and I will most certainly go back. Enjoy!

Without mentioning the food, if you like pink and/or butterfly's - you will like the decor here! It is a quaint little place whether dining in a large group of for a business meal.We turned up rather late on in the lunch service, but were welcomed in, we both chose the 'menu du jour' cockerel with salad & chips, which tasted lovely disoit the Cockeral being a little dry (presume because it was already cooked & we were late on in the Day) the chips were lovely as was the dressing on the salad. For dessert - the brownie - huge slice of brownie cake, which was moist, tasty & finished the meal off perfectly! For the price (â¬13) on & out in an hour - it was very enjoyable. Great atmosphere created by the owner & something that stood out for me - if it's not on the menu, tell me what you had in mind we'll try to create it....that's going the extra mile! Also, I have to mention the toilets - often I've been in these small bars/resto places & you'd rather hold it than go to the toilet - not this place - they were clean, had toilet paper, a place to wash your hands, they didn't miss a trick here at all!If I were staying in the area, I wouldon't hesitate to go back to try tomorrow Daily menu!

Great wine list, especially for Alsace and Jura regions, by the bottle, by the carafe, and by the glass. The glass of vin jaunt for the apéritif was excellent. Try the regional specialities. My dinner was very good. Diners were a mix of French and foreigners. The head guy spent time in Florida so English is easy.Thank you for your compliments...Yes I like wines, and i have a great wine menu!!!Laurent, works few years in Florida and he speak english very well, it is very important.See you soon...

We had 3 pizzas as this place was recommended by the shop owner around the corner (if you want to look like Desigual but pay only 50 % max, go there) for excellent woodfire baked pizzas. They were - both fire and excellent. Thin crunchy crust, nicely spiced, the egg on the tuna pizza went very well.Very reasonably priced wines as well. When we were there we noticed that almost all diners were having desert. So we did as well. Highly recommended is the home made tiramisu. Guten Tag Christine,Vielen dank und bis baldMarie & Jean François

Along the style of a Paris bistro a place that serves excellent traditional French cuisine in a intimate and cosy atmosphere. Add to that good service and pretty reasonable prices and this is one of my favorite restaurants in Belfort!

Excellent kitchen. The restaurant is a little small but therefor very cosy. The menu consists out of dedicated meals that are absolutely very tasty. In this restaurant you can really sit down and enjoy the food for the whole evening. Great wines available as well.Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire, et suis ravi que cela vous ait plu.Au plaisir de vous revoir prochainement.
