Rumbera is always busy because the locals know that this is the best place for pizza, so arrive early to avoid disappointment. The pizzas are delicious - crispy, thin base with an interesting selection of toppings. Small selection of wines but the Rose we had was more than acceptable. The side salad that we ordered was fresh and tasty as well. Definitely sit outside if the weather is good but there is also ample indoor seating if not

Stopped here for lunch, â¬14pp. Included bread, olives, starter, main, dessert and coffee. Loved the fact the menus were not in English, which forces you to attempt your Catalan. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty and simple. A bargain for â¬14. Would recommend it if you are at Banyoles lake. Only downside is as is the norm, smoking allowed on patio tables areas. Think you'd have to reserve if you wanted to eat inside. Thanks for your opinionSincerelyVora Estany

1. Located in Bayones in a hotel. 2. Ample metered street parking around. 3. Offers 3 fixed priced tasting menus for lunch: Euros: 38, 50 and 70 euros each. (Without wine)4. Wine pairing was an extra 20 E each, however, you can order wine a la Carte. 5. You can also order food al la carte for 15 a 30E/entree. 6. The tastes (we ordered the 38E tasting menu and asked for all fish entrees that had meat in them. 7. Service was exquisite, prompt and professional. 8. The presentation, portion size and Tastes were extraordinary. 9. The place gets packed on weekends, go on a weekday if you can. 10. The hours are not American as they open for lunch at 1-3:30 and dinner seating starts at 8:30 (check before you go) 11. You can easily make a reservation online through their website and is recommended. 12. This is a Michelin 1-star restaurant. Net/net this is a relatively unknown hidden gem and a must if you are in the area.

Catalan friends recommended this place. We can well understand why. Set menu including wine, water and bread for four came to 55â¬. Superb food, both the starters and the main courses were excellent. Particularly notable was the chicken - definitely not the ubiquitous chicken and chips, but served in a delicious sauce with vegetables, and a few fresh sauté potatoes. Crema Catalana even better. We debated over 4 stars as the canelones and the macarones were tepid, but everything else was superb. We were roundly told off afterwards by the Catalan friends with us, who would have sent the two dishes back to be warmed up properly.... but our view was âhey ho, this is Spainâ, and not unusual.

Desperate for a restaurant that was actually open on the 2nd of January we wandered around Banyoles looking for something to eat. Then we discovered La Magrana. They were about to close but welcomed us in. Great menu. Creative cooking. Good quality produce. Smart decor. The desserts were terrific especially the ice cream from a local co- operative. La Magrana is run by a lovely couple who clearly are passionate about what they are doing.

We were visiting Catalonia for two days and never knew was the Maryâs Assupmtion day so Public Holiday and nearly everything closed even most restaurants !We even tried Girona on that day and the whole place was like a Ghost City on that day! Went back to Banyoles and just searching streets and TripAdvisors simultaneously ! We just sighted this Gastro Pub and looked cool so stopped . And were very pleased we did. We mainly had burgers and some side dishes and never could imagine can have so many twists the a burger meal , and be so delicious! My son has asked me to give this Pub 5 stars!Hi Gardesh76Thank you so much for your review and the 5 stard form your son.We are really happy to know the full family has enjoyed at our's.Thank yoyPlease back to Catalonia!:)Quim.

Seafood restaurant. Peaceful and friendly atmosphere.
We went to lunch with a supplier, local and very freshly decorated, very elegant. We ate a menu which had snacks first and second pick something. All good, maybe try to improve a prawn starter that are llagostinera take that cold sauce Rosa, good, but not at the level of the other dishes. Except that, for my point of view, the rest very good. One of the typical dishes are mussels !! Would 15 days past them !! The star dish.Price correct. For 25/30 ⬠you can make a good meal. (Menu)Reservations required, usually is quite full.As a fish restaurant, the area of the lake and plan Garrotxa without doubt the best !!You will not be unhappy !!Thank you for your commentWe appreciate your visit and hope to see you again

We loved our lunch here and were stunned at the outstanding food and service provided. We asked to sit outside and the staff were only to happy to set up a table and chairs for us and they were happy for us to share a set menu between the two of us. The food was divine and I would love to return ... !
Juan is a wonderful host as well as barman and cook. We had dinner here and were impressed with the food but also by the really friendly welcome we were given. First courses of goats cheese salad and crochetas were substantial and delicious. Seconds of lamb and duck also really well received. Desserts white chocolate cheesecake and a melting chocolate pudding were wonderful. Throw in a few beers and a really nice bottle of white and for 60 Euros you can't go wrong
