Fabulous cafe for both breakfast and lunch. Breakfasts are first class as is the lunch menu. I had a lovely chicken bacon Caesar salad today. Coffee very tasty. Fairly priced. You must try.

We were very well looked after by the host who also explained the history of the building. We ordered whilst having cocktails and were invited to our table when the meal was ready to serve. The meal was a bit expensive, but excellent. I would love to go again, but our schedule does not permit.

Two friends and myself met up at the Downshire Hotel,, Banbridge few weeks back....We expected the usual high standard of food but it was the complete opposite. The meat was tough so, we had to send the whole three plates back....we re ordered different dishes but was not much better. We complained to the staff but we wont be back anytime soon!!!

19th Hole offers great tasting and competitively priced lunch and dinner options. Located within Banbridge Golf Club and offering very friendly service. Open to the public from Tuesday, Thursay, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Ok so I was fed up with the same old food places and wanted something new. I had a nose through fb and saw someone recommend the 19th Hole Bar and Grill at The Golf Club. I thought you had to be a member to eat there but it turns out anyone can go. And I'm so glad that I stumbled across it!! It's a wee gem of a place.Staff were friendly and courteous, even though part of our group were over half an hour late. The menu is classic with something for everyone. We had carbonara (so creamy), curry (which was perfect hotness for my friend and I, but I'm sure it could be made spicier if you preferred) and ceaser salad (the chicken goujons were huge...we were told that they are made by the chef himself and not bought in). The food was delicious and the portions were massive. We were all so full that we had to take our dessert home (cheesecake that melted in your mouth incase u were wondering). So the price.... well because this restaurant is located in The Golf Club I thought it would cost a small fortune, but I was wrong. Less than £60 for main and dessert for 5 people!! Actually checked the bill twice because I thought we hadn't been charged for something. You really need to try this place! I'm not affiliated with it, I was just so impressed that I had to share. It's a new business in our town and we should all give it some support and try it. I can't wait to get back and work my way through the menu!!!Oh and here's the number, so get booking!02840662211

Locally run cafe that provides delicious home cooked meals in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, come along and enjoy a freshly cooked meal or just a cup of tea or coffee, we are always happy to see new faces and catch up with old friends
I visit weekly usually. Good choice of dinners from stroganoff. Curry. Mince pie.braising steak.plaice etc.etc.I love the waxy potatoes and usually three veg served. A small dinner is as big as usual elsewhere.Salads and club sandwiches large and filling. As are the Ulster fries. Coffee and deserts good also.Try it.
