Both of her places here and the one in Listowel,,, are just wonderful to have just healthy options,,, but,,,I must say cooking a lot of healthy things myself ,I find her food very tasteless.Infact disappointed there wasn't even a healthy kind salt and pepper on the table. The prices are fair but not a deal ....As long as you bring your own spices ,,,,the salads etc are just wonderful.

We ate at the Cliff House Restaurant twice in one week as we were vacationing in Ballybunion. The food was amazing but what also brought us back for the second night was the waitress, Olya? (spelling) She was very friendly and efficient and even gave us a hug goodbye when she found out our vacation was ending and we were returning to Canada. I would highly recommend the Cliff House restaurant for all ages!

The restaurant is in the famous Ballybunion Golf Club. The reataurant is open to the public and serves a great dinner. Booking advisable at the weekends. Beautiful view of the sun setting in the evening over the sea.
After our husbands had the golf experience of a lifetime playing 18 holes on the Ballybunion course with the help of Johnny Joy their incredible caddy, we enjoyed a lovely lunch in the clubhouse. Friendly attentive staff, delicious food and an incredible view of the 18th hole all added to this wonderful experience. Thank you Ballybunion for making 2 Canadian golfers enjoy the game of their life. Your golf club covers and flags will be proudly displayed in their golf bags for many years to come.

Great meals! A fair portion of delicious lamb rump, mash potatoes, and veggie purée for me, baked crab pasta for my wife. The seasonal veggies (carrots, parsnips, and onion) were a perfectly roasted al dente. Then we split a to-die-for âchocolate nemesisâ cake with vanilla ice cream. Service was attentive and efficient. When back to Ballybunion this will be a must-do for us again.

Had the corriander and carrott soup. Very tasty. Other members of the party had seafood chowder. Which they also enjoyed. Monkfish was on the menu. But having ordered it my wife was told the chef had no monkfish. So had hake for the stir fry. She found the hake bland. The duo of fish was very nice but the portion size was small. Cheese cake for desert was delicious. Nice size portion with plenty of maltesers and a portion of ice cream. The base of the cheese cake was solid. Be careful of the white sauce with the duo of fish. Not sure if it is gluten free.
