Just happened to choose this restaurant by chance as it looked very cosy and busy. Menu is completely in French and we managed to get by with our very limited language skills. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. I had the coquelet fermier which turned out to be the most delicious roast chicken Iâve ever eaten, tarragon, garlic, onion just superb and bursting with flavour with every mouthful. The french fries were also delicious especially with the intensely garlic aioli and bernaise sauce. My partner had the suckling pig and fresh vegetables of the day - how they can make cauliflower taste that good is pure alchemy. Just perfection in every way.

La Bicyclette Rose is extremely laid-back and provides a total unwinding breakfast experience ... it's like breakfast at friends, all appears hand- / home-made and it's freshly made. Their attention to details is amazing (that includes e.g. their boiled egg with a hat) or their colored bread on Saturdays. We figured out for 3 persons to order 2 brunch combos and one or two additional items to be way enough and also be the best price / value ratio. Bicyclette Rose either creates their own items (including lemonades) or you can be assured they are from well selected producers (not mass producers). It's a food heaven, only thing you need to bring with is time ... if you're in a rush, you won't enjoy.

Having read other reviews I wanted to make a reservation for the next evening (Tuesday) but found that the restaurant does not open on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. We went along early that (Monday) evening and managed to get the only free table. All of the other diners sounded French and possibly locals. It is run by a couple; he cooks and his partner looks after front of house. We had a wonderful evening, great food and wine with truly excellent service. Our hostess took time to explain each dish and offer advice on the wines that we were considering. Having made a choice, she offered to change the wine for another if we did not like it - we loved it.

Settled since 1997, Sophie and Patrice CAVORET knew how to make of this place a well known greedy place of the Annéciens. Proud of their experience in gourmet restaurants, they knew how to adapt this knowledge to their atmosphere "Bistro". Sophie welcomes
Went for a visit. Food quality is average, whilst price way too high. Scallops as starter were not up to expectations.

The place is small yet we were not seated unduly close to other tables and acoustics were alright. The menus offered some but limited choices. But the kitchen was flexible in avoiding ingredients likely to be problematic. Though not especially innovative the chef achieved high standards at each of our four courses plus amuse bouches and additional pleasures.Overall an excellent, good value dinner.

Restaurant Une Autre Histoire is open for Tuesday diner and from Wensday to Saturday for lunch and diner. Thanks
Again, an absolutely superb meal at Une Autre Histoire. We could not fault it. From the moment of entering the restaurant, the experience is wonderful. Exciting and delicious meals, good wine list, very fast and still friendly service, attention to detail. Highly recommend in a town of good restaurants - this is superb.

We went to Tête de Cochon after reading the reviews on here.Well, everything we had read was spot on! From the amazing service all the way to amazing food we were not disappointed at all. Even the organic white beer was out of this world.

I have been a tourist in Annecy for the past couple weeks and this is one of the places I have been coming almost every day since my arrival. There is a great selection of Italian products like cold cuts, cheese, and handmade fresh pasta. It's either handmade or imported from Italy I understand and everything is high quality. They do a small lunch as well with burgers, salads, and pasta choices. I would highly recommend the ricotta stuffed tomatoes. The service is fantastic and I felt at home here (it's a young couple that owns it and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable). It's not in the center of the city but is very close and is located in a nice neighborhood (10 minutes from the Courier Shopping Mall).

In a green setting on the banks of the lake our Restaurant, 2kms from the old town of Annecy welcome you to have an unforgettable moment. This place offer you a panoramic & fantastic view over the lake and mountains.Warm-hearted atmosphere, easy access and
The restaurant is well placed with beautiful view on the lac. You have the choice to eat in the dining room or on the terrace. Both are nice. Maybe on a very hot day the dining room is more fresh. The food is nice and tasty. We were a large group and everybody liked his or her dish. The price is reasonable on the expensive side. During the week you have "menu marché" which is very good price. The service is the only point that is slightly below what I was expecting. However it is much better that the appalling service you get in Annecy touristic center. What I disliked is the "cold" side of part of the staff. The smiles were rare the communication and advices terse. We were not given enough menu for the table and that was not convenient in our group. But it is true this was on a very hot day, so I want to believe this was the reason.Overall I recommend the place and would try again.
