El tomate is in the village of Mogan, about 8 kilometres inland from Puerto mogan. It's in the heart of the village in a beautiful old finca. The food is well worth the drive. It's a blend of classic European and Spanish. Everything is homemade right down to their mojo sauce. I had a very tasty tomato and basil soup followed by a superb sea bass with bearnaise sauce. Good house wine as well. It's also very good value for money and a much better alternative to the other local restaurants.

The Gastrobar The Inn of Juncalilo is the fruit of the transformation of an old School. It pretends to make known the gastronomy Canaria with a new concept and where the treatment and the sea care an added value for the enjoyment of his free time. In addi
What a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful meal in a beautiful scenery! Ideal place for those of you who think Gran Canaria is just sun&beaches. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, great traditional food with a twist and the price couldn't be better (soooo worth the money!!). Apart from that, the rural hotel is really special, small but with character. We were shown the rooms and they looked amazing. I'm definitely coming back in the future and staying overnight. If you appreciate nature and rural tourism, this is your place :)

Fish fillet in cream sauce with local potatoes followed by excellent home-made chocolate mousse. Swift and pleasant service. Lovely view of the sea. The town itself does not really merit a special visit, but ours was livened up by a panoramic view of an air-sea rescue helicopter winching stranded children off the rocks!

I consulted trip advisor only after seating down and was expecting the worst, but actually I think it is the most economic restaurant of the town and although the waiters seem to be slightly unprofessional that is not necessarily a bad thing and actually what you would expect in a real cofradia. We speak Spanish that probably helps.

The BioCreperia is a vegetarian restaurant where the food is almost entirely prepared by hand. We offer a range of sweet and savoury crêpes as well as a tasty meal, which is always different, as we use fresh organic products that we grow ourselves in Acus
We werenât even sure that weâd find anywhere to eat on arrival in Arternara but we stumbled across two close to each other, but this little vegan restaurant flying prayer flags outside, really captured our imagination (and Iâm a full time meat eater!) They have a brilliant philosophy about using home grown and organic foods mostly sourced locally in the mountain top village. Everything is fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked. Ok thatâs a big claim for my first visit but I ordered two crepes, one tomato and local cheese and also a roasted banana, toffee & rum and both were mouth-wateringly scrummy! I also enjoyed a locally brewed craft beer which was wonderfully hoppy and served really cold, a gorgeous relief on this baking hot day.The owner was really friendly and extremely helpful and clearly passionate about the food and their approach. I was anxious that we waited so long to be served but there is definitely a laid back un-rushed atmosphere here and SO lovely to hear fluent Spanish everywhere unlike the horrendous English holiday atmosphere of Puerto Rico where we are staying. This restaurant is a gem of a place :-) Gracias!!!

La Bodeguita Ca Juancri is a restaurant near church del San Santiago de los Caballeros; this is a popular restaurant but agreeable. The waiters were nice and I liked the original food. It's not an expensive restaurant.

My friend and I came to this restaurant initially as part of a day excursion we went on (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g187472-d10799923-Reviews-Excursions_Gran_Canaria-Las_Palmas_de_Gran_Canaria_Gran_Canaria_Canary_Islands.html). We enjoyed the food (and the town of Agaete/Puerto de las Nieves) so much that we decided to have lunch there the next day, all the way from Las Palmas. We both went for fish for both days and because these were "catch of the day" type of fish that were fresh and tasty. The sea view was stunning and the service was good. It's a lovely humble family run restaurant. It was the first occasion for the both of us to taste the mojo sauces and we both liked them very much. I would recommend this restaurant and would come again if I ever go to Gran Canaria again.

We had a delicious shrimp salad for lunch after walking into town from Las Longueras. Service was excellent and our effort at ordering in our very rudimentary Spanish was rewarded with small glasses of ronmiel at the end of the meal -- after we had paid. We'd never had it before. Suffice to say we brought a bottle back to Canada with us, so we'll always remember Casa Pepe.

We have spent several days in Agaete, this is by far the best restaurant for dinner. The prices are reasonable considering the fresh seafood and the sea side location. The services was prompt and professional even on busy Saturday afternoons when we just wanted some coffee. After trying several of the other restaurants on the seaside strip LanDiosa del Mar is definitely our #1 pick.Muchas gracias por su visita
