We have a full line of all seafood, fried or baked, we have sirloin steaks, carne de Espeto, Chicken and pork dishes, pasta and pizza's along with children's dishes.
You can sit at the bar or you can sit in the dining area, that has little division from the bar so it may get a bit loud. The owner is very pleasant. Food is fantastic with fresh seafood from the waterfront. They also specialize in Portugese Cusine. Very clean.
Small restaurant with small dining area. They also had a very big table set up for looked like a party of 27 so maybe the dining area would have been a little bigger if not for that. The menu has every popular portuguese dishes and prices are quiet decient compared to the bigger portuguese restaurants we have been to. Ordered the Junior Steak came out perfect to my liking came with the traditional rice and fries the steak was great!! My husband ordered something called the Seafood mix it came in a big pan with lots of seafood in a sauce with peppers and onions and came with a side of fries. He said it was very good and had lots of seafood. Did not stay for dessert we were to full ..We would go back again
Incognito is a very attractive restaurnat with music and dancing later at night. The foor is very good and reasonably priced. Have eatent there three times with consistently good results. Varied Portugese and traditional American fare. Great bar and lovely owner. Excellent spot in New Bedofrd.

This restaurant is a hole-in-the wall restaurant on the very busy Acushnet Avenue in the north end of New Bedford. It is family owned and is decidedly portuguese cuisine. Having said all that, this is in my opinion the best portuguese food in New Bedford and that's saying a lot considering #1 I am portuguese and have eaten at most portuguese restaurants in the area and #2 New Bedford is the national haven for portuguese food. The restaurant is simple but clean. The food is the same. The prices are very good and the portions are generous. The wait staff is accommodating though speaking portuguese will help in the ordering. But don't be discouraged from eating here if you don't speak portuguese, the staff understands enough english to get you through the ordering process. Wonderful restaurant!

Food was good, service was good. Sangrias were ok. I had the baked stuffed shrimp. They were good, not the best I've ever had.Hubby had a special...it was good. Bread was great! Too stuffed for dessert. Parking in the back of the building...

M & C puts on a wonderful cocktail party for 40 people. Everyone raved about the goodies that were prepared --from shrimp to scallops, to beef treats, and delicious vegetarian options. Delivered by their professional servers in a friendly manner at my home. It was fantastic. My guests were smiling and so was I.

I ate at Bom Appetite yesterday for a late lunch with a friend. We wanted authentic Portuguese food, and we got it. He had the Littlenecks Alentejana, a dish of pork and clams in a savory broth. I had the Blood Pudding with Grilled Pineapple. We washed it down with some Lancers Rose - not the high point of the meal, but the selection of wines available by the glass is very limited. There is an attached lounge, but we did not go in there. I enjoyed my meal, and plan to return with my wife. Note the spelling: it is Bom, not Bon. It's a Portuguese place, not French.

We went to Captain's Place to celebrate our best friends anniversary and we had the best time. Joe the owner of the restaurant was there and was so entertaining, friendly and an ace at keeping the restaurant going smoothly and customers happy. The food was fabulous and so very tasty. We even had fun with the customers that sat next us. We will be back!!
