As we are staying in the Grand Hotel Baia Verde we didn't fancy straying too far on our first night. Our first meal here was perfectly fine from a small menu. However we noticed that a couple of other people were eating what looked wonderful. After enquiring we discovered there was a fresh catch nightly special. So we tried the special and it was indeed very special! A starter of fish anti pasti, followed by one of the best linguine's I've ever had with a lobster, tomato and pepper sauce. It really was lovely. So if you eat here you must ask about the fresh catch of the day.

Passed this place one evening after we had eaten and it was packed. Visited the next day at lunchtime and not very busy but brilliant. Food delicious, again served gluten free starter and main course pasta - very helpful.

Sicilia's Restaurant - Wine & Drink (Cafe de Mar) is a completely new catering format in the relevant territory. In Paris it would be a bistro, an elegant but cozy place to have breakfast, meet their friends, organize a business meeting with a perfect ape
We actually and especially came back to this place since we had such a good lunch experience last year. However we were very much disappointed this year. Was it the day, the food or the ingredients? I don't know. There was still one of the waiters of last year who speaks English well. Although he and his colleagues were very helpful and friendly last year this time we had one of our worst lunch experiences in Sicily in the past few years. No enthusiasm, no help, no explanation, poor and non fresh bread, opening a rather expensive frizzante rose from Milazzo without tasting, having all waiters at our table. We ordered saute of cozze and vongole, some warm sea salad and fritto misto. The last only had 1 ingredient, poorly fried and too big fish and I sent it back after eating half of it. The rest was okay but lacked the good taste we knee from last year. We had much better anywhere throughout Sicily. Only after again a remark that the fritto misto was not good and we were willing to pay half the plate listed off our tab. Got an amaro for free. No atmosphere, good food experience or service we had whatsoever last year. A shame for a place which has/had so much potential!

What annoyed me most was that we ordered food before two tables next to even arrived. Yet both tables got their food and finished before us. Unfortunately this has happened before. It took one and a half hours for our order to arrive. Having said that, the food was really good, the price was good and the location was nice.

Located close to Four Points Sheraton less 2 minute walk. Excellent pizza, good service, felt more like local establishment. Nice atmosphere, friendly people . Excellent prices will definitely visit again .

Ate lunch here on a quiet tuesday in October (ie not overly busy). We were famished so looking forward to getting stuck into the normal bread basket available when you eat in an italian restaurant. None was offered. No offer of water either - just took food and drinks order. I asked for break and the request was taken but no bread arrived. Ate a Salad (Nancy) and a pasta dish with prawns which were nice. I had to give the flat bread which came with my salad to my partner who was ravenous at this point waiting for the bread basket which never came. Pity as the setting was nice and scenic.

Went with friends for lunch at this restaurant and had lobster pasta and friend had sword fish. Was 18 euros for the lobster pasta which was very affordable considering what you were getting. Loved the flavour and loved the view from the restaurant. Very busy and small restaurant

RADICE è una parola al sapore di origine, di calore e cultura, di crescita e amore. La cucina è una storia dâamore.
We just discovered this cozy restaurant by walking through the Market in Piazza Carlo Alberto. We liked the outdoor, the dishes written on a black board and we decided to come for dinner. The atmosphere is authentic and the design very well finished. The owner welcomed us warmly and gave us the best table next to the window. Thanks to his genuine advice, we had a big tasting plate of typical fish appetizers, a beautiful tuna with Tropea candied onions, Swordfish involtini and a succulent Tortino with warm heart of pistachio cream! Delicious! The choice of the wine as well was perfect thanks to Antonioâs advice. We talked with him about our trip in Sicily and he gave us nice suggestions! We really had great time and great food! Highly recommended both for lunch and dinner! Good Morning! All our Staff is really proud for reading this review because it is genuine! We all are really happy you are enjoing your trip in Sicily and we think that a trip is fantastic if local food is amazing! We try to do this for you every day and we really hope to see you again and soon!Antonio.
