We had fish at Kaai 10 and it seemed to be swimming out of the sea right onto our plate. Very delicious...

A Groupon booking for 3 courses for 3 people tempted me to book, not knowing anything about the establishment. How glad I am that I did!The quality of the food, professional service, excellent value and attractive interior made this a lunchtime to remember. We have all agreed that we want to return, but without a Groupon voucher we will choose one or two courses, I expect. The tartare of Atlantic salmon was delicious and a very generous portion for a first course. The Surf and Turf steak and scampis were excellent, full of taste and extremely tender - cooked to perfection. My congratulations on sourcing such good meat locally.

Elijah Greek for Olive Tree is located in the heart of Sluis behind the Belfry. Elia you can enjoy the rich and tasty Greek cuisine. Experience the relaxing Greek atmosphere, where quality and hospitality are paramount. Christos and Dimitri welcome you wi
We stayed in Damme this Christmas, Sluis is a short drive over the border to the Netherlands. I chose the Elia (Meaning Olive) Greek restaurant after trawling through TripAdvisor reviews for somewhere different to eat our Christmas day meal and was not disappointed in any way. From the moment I contacted them via email to book a table the service was excellent. Run by two Greek brothers the restaurant has a beautiful decor inside and out with a good range of traditional Greek food. A set Christmas day menu was on offer however we decided to choose our own meal so being warned in advance that they do not have an English version of the menu we printed off our own and decided earlier what we were going to have. My Husband and I choose the cold meze starter and my Daughter had a plate of hot meatballs. The meze had taramasalata tzatziki olives tuna pate Feta and marinated calamari and was served with bread. It was delicious. Our chosen main meals were Rib eye steak a mixed grill and a lamb shank, not all traditionally Greek but absolutely perfectly done, they arrived with a huge Greek salad and piping hot fries. For dessert we chose panna cotta with Mastica sauce, traditionally made Greek orange chocolate cake and a Greek walnut cake with icecream. Having travelled to Greece many times a year over thirty years we have tasted various dishes and although some of the menu here maybe is not quite as traditional as they have to cater for the tourists too, I can say that the chef here does a wonderful job. The service was excellent we were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. The food was presented beautifully. Even though the restaurant was full to capacity we were not rushed and were given the right level of attention all night. Thank you we had a wonderful Christmas evening. We are planning to go back to Belgium in the summer and will definitely be booking another meal with the Elia. Highly recommended.

Bart Grahame en Yori Gresel verwelkomen u i
Wonderful food; great presentation but not over-fancy. Lovely people and very pleasant service. We choose 3 courses from set menu with recommended glasses of wine. And beautiful location in tiny small historical village of St Anna ter Muiden, literally on Belgium-Netherlands border. This restaurant is a pearl in the crown of Zeeuws Vlaanderen.

We had dinner with friends at The Schaapskooi last weekend. It was a very positive experience. We had the in-season mussels and they were delicious. For starters I had the foie gras and that was very tasty too. The portion were huge. The wine list is pretty extensive (not cheap) but we managed to select some really good wines. People were friendly. When in the neighbourhood of Knokke or Sluis this is a great option.

Paradise on earth for meat lovers, in a charming and well decorated restaurant. I had a tomahawk steak orderes from approximately 700 grams. Just super meat, crispy crust and tender and medium rare inside; no sauce needed. The kind of restaurant where I would like to return again. Also a very kindly staff.

Went there with a group of 20 , but as we were the only groupmembers living close-by , we did not check into the hotel but only joined for an all-inclusive dinner. All drinks are included in between a preset, but wide time frame, this came at a price of 2 x 45 euro for the two of us. That price is way too high, unless you consume a wide range of alcoholic variaties and subsequently crash into your bed in the adjacent hotel. The hotel owners, friendly and hospitable people originating from the Middle East,do not seem to grasp the concept of starter and main course as all dishes (not the sweets) are kind of shuffled without any logic order for moving along the buffet. Also, the choices are rather limited and the buffet is rather small, so a lot of containers were empty and waiting for refill. The quality is good though. Same for the sweets: just bend over and scratch your icecream from boxes down in the freezer. Not a very festive way of presenting.

Small and trendy restaurant in the center of the city. Very light and cosy interiour with open kitchen. Chef Thierry serves a traditional but light French cuisine with Asian influences. Friendly and attentive service by his wife Véronique
Nice restaurant but small, friendly staff. The food is very tasteful, we took the menu and this was excellent. Only downpoint which in the end spoiled the meal was the waiting time for the dessert, this took between 45 min. and an hour, i was already planning to leave without dessert.
