Bij toeval hier terecht gekomen omdat alle restaurants in de omgeving vol zaten of de plaatsen gereserveerd waren voor gasten. Maar .... heel verrassend gegeten. Ikzelf had het 3-gangenmenu en dat was voortreffelijk. Traditioneel meloen met ham, kippannetje met kerrie en een zalig ijscoupe in een wekpot. Geen verkeerde keuze en aan te bevelen. Wij kunnen spreken van geluk bij een ongeluk. Vriendelijk personeel.

Als dit restaurant een iets uitgebreider en aantrekkelijker menu zou serveren dan is het een top locatie! De grote bomen in de tuin met speeltoestellen maken dit tot een geweldig restaurant om met kinderen te eten. Helaas is de kaart zo sumier met heel veel frituur dat wij meestal ergens anders besluiten te eten. Wel zeer vriendelijke en professionele bediening.

We visited this pancake house on the way back from an energetic morning in the swimming pool.We had not visited this restaurant before but were very glad we did.The whole theme is an old train station, the kitchen is a carriage and the seats are old train seats and there are even the old conductors jackets hanging up on each set of seats and for the kids there is a really cool model train going round on a track set high up on the wall.The pancakes were very tasty and the cappuccino was tasty and very warm ( i cant stand a place that serves a lukewarm cappuccino) and everyone was full up at the end of there meal.I would recommend to all.Dear Richard, thank you for taking the time and effort to share your experiences with us and other TripAdvisor users. Informal bistro with friendly owners. One serves the guests and the other one cooks. Open kitchen. Informal ambiance. Well excecuted inventive tasty dishes. The food is presented beautifully but the plates are on the small side so you need to order at least 4 courses to feel happy.Prices are high and particularly wine and other drinks are far too expensive. House wine from 6.50 per really small glass!There is no menu to choose from. The chef decides after having asked if there is anything you do not like. No wine list either. Wines are proposed without knowing the price. This is not acceptable. So, although the dishes are fine, the lack of information and the very high prices make me give this establishement an "average" rating.

This restaurant has been around for 20 years. About 10 years ago we discovered this restaurant by coincidence. Searching for a place serving Game. If you love Game and good red wine, this is the place to be. Get the Game menu, serving 4 or 5 courses. Guide the Owner to help you finding a good red. Provide him with some tips and let him do the searching. This culinary surprise is going to leave you flabergasted. I'll be back again.
