This is the most amazing delicatessen. Go here and let the owners advise you on Parmaâs food delights. Sit in the deli or take the food home. Try the fried bread with prosciutto and parmigiana reggiano. Try the seafood salad or the vegetables. We met friends in Parma for sightseeing and booked dinner for Trattoria Rigoletto. We recurved a warm welcome and ordered lemon pasta for starters followed steak with balsamic and honey. Finishing with tiramisu and cafe. Firstly the service was superb- from the owner serving in tables. With his wife cooking in the kitchen the dishes were perfect - especially the tagliatelle with lemon. With Carafes of wine the bill â¬123 for 4 people this was excellent value. I highly recommend this restaurant and canât wait to return!

L'Antica Osteria della Ghiaia di Parma è Chiusa per Ferie Estive sino al 2 settembre: riapre il 3 settembre.
We arrived in Parma late and opted for this restaurant because it was close to our rental apartment. The restaurant is a small, cozy, local establishment with an excellent menu selection. The menu is not available in english but we could translate most of it and the staff was happy to help us fill in the missing gaps. We had the grilled sausages and a mixed grill pate. Everything was very tasty. The highlight was the torta fritta (a fried puffed bread) that comes with the prosciutto.

This recently opened restaurant is only a few hundred meters from our Italian farmhouse in Parma, Italy and we wanted to experience it after it was recommended to us by friends. Well, we were not disappointed - we were really delighted with this excellent dining experience. The restaurant ambience is fresh and modern and relaxing and to see the restaurant almost full at lunchtime on a weekday was really encouraging! Although the signature dishes are Italian risotto based, we went for the roast beef with a green salad and roasted vegetables accompanied by an excellent bottle of the local Lambrusco wine which was also excellent. The deserts were to die for, the service and attention from the owner and the staff also exceeded our expectations and we will certainly be walking over the road again to this excellent new dining experience in Parma. (Also it is worth mentioning that the high quality of the meats, wines etc have been selected by the owners from local Parma producers who are committed to the very highest standards).

A wonderful dining experience. We called only an hour prior to having our lunch, and were seated at around 13:00. The place was busy but the service didn't suffer. Our antipasto was a selection of mixed salumi. My wife ordered Andolini in brodo, which was a simple but delicous broth with tortellini (Tortellini in Brodo, which is very characteristic of this region). Excellent! I had a pappardeli pasta with coniglia and olives. Also excellent. We skipped the secondo piatti. For dessert we had their homemade gelato with fruitti di bosco. With vino & acqua frizzante, 89 euro. Be aware they are quiet a ways away from the centro, about 1 km. Worth the trip.

We were the only tourist and menu only in Italian but young waiters spoke English. Salume misto with torta was awesome. Pasta is homemade. Bread homemade. Parma and Parmesan fabulous. We ran into this place hungry traveling through. Worth stopping.

We came here at the recommendation of our host - the previous night's suggestion had been fantastic. This time, we were less happy. The setting, under a canopy in the garden, was very pleasant. The fried cake which was brought to the table was oily and we left some. One of the starters of gnocchi with curry and apple was not to our liking and too rich and sickly(perhaps we have a more discerning 'curry palate' having spent time in the UK). The salami portion was very generous. One of the main meals was not so good, the others better. The desserts were fine. For what we had, we felt it was quite expensive.Dear sir/madame,Thank you for your valuable comments. We apologize for not having satisfied you completely. For our "gnocchi al curry" we use curry which is directly purchased in India and for cooking them we use double cream and apples. So it's a very particular dish.I can't say anything about others dishes because you don't mention them. I assure you we have a good quality-price ratio. Thank you again for visiting us.Best wishes
