Location couldn't be better, they are in pedestrian only Jomas Iela(Street) which is the "heart" of Jurmala and only short walk away from beach. Nice terrace outside and cozy looking interior. We took different starters, mains and desserts and all 6 different portions from Lamb Sausage to Cherry Pie were real tasty, fresh and made from quality ingredients(check my pics). Young male waiter was friendly and considering their prime location and high standards, prices were reasonable

This used to be one of my favourite places in Jurmala for many years, but lately the service has just gone away completely, and the food quality droped as well. Not enough to make us wait endlessly (15 min until they cleaned our table from the previous guests, 15 min until they gave the menu, 15 min until they took our order and so on), the attitude is ignorant and negligent, even unpolite. Canât imagine one reason why those people even have chosen to be in a service business. And the last reason I wonât suggest to visit the place - half of the long and rich menu is not available, including those dishes my family visited the place for:( PS. Got sick of the âelevator musicâ from the last century during our exciting 2h trip in this place

Good1) VERY cheap2) VERY large helpingsBad1) Self service when you order2) Poor selection of beersMixed1) The dishes are very simple, I mean they are delicious, but it is more a pub style food, not a restaurant style foods

Good Russian cuisine with a local touch with a pleasant terrace especially in the summer. Efficient staff.

Waiting time was 1h, food portions small and taste not so good, service awful. Had to ask forks and knives twice, no napkins on the table and did not get these even after asking.

This restaurant offers tasty food at reasonable prices. A lot of dishes are under 10⬠and a rib eye steak is 18⬠and at least 300g! A gulash soup is 4,50â¬.Unfortunately the tables on the terrace are quite noisy along the street. Nevertheless, we like it and will come again !Thank you!

The restaurant first opened in 2014, and since then has grown rapidly to a high-class, well-known gourmet paradise. Located on the picturesque banks of Lielupe, it's location makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. LAIVA's interior is also one of
Visited the restaurant for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant was nicely booked, like it ussually is on weekends. We booked a table only this morning, good that they still had vacant tables. The food was alright. Nothing fancy, but alright. I was expecting a better choice of foods, because they mostly served various salads, sandwiches and pancakes. The only fish was salmon, which ran out quickly and the kitchen didnt hurry to fill it up. So, it was ok, but just ok, for 18 eur/pax.
