The Privaat pub is located on the first floor of the Wironia hotel in the centre of Johvi. A pub with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, we offer tasty, home-style meals and barbecue specials. Our pub is one of the few places you can try beer fro
I liked this place a lot due to the fantastic customer service! The place is really cozy both for family lunches/dinners or some drinks with your friends. Did not try the cusine this time, but they serve coffee of great quality (highly recommend). Thumbsup for the hardworking and always shining barmaids! You were amazing!

This place is rather new in Jõhvi, located by a side street. Street corner is marked with a huge wooden spoon on the main Rakvere street. Huge wooden restaurant room is decorated with country and soviet time stuff. On weekends there are occasional live bands. At other times typical country style Estonian music is in air.Food is rather good and low priced. Nothing special but good in quality. Taste and quality varies though, maybe different cook in service. Weekday lunch is cheap and popular.

Mio Mare à la carte restaurant seats up to 120 and is the perfect place for family get-togethers or business meetings. In summer you can sit on its terrace and admire the sunset or simply escape into your own thoughts and enjoy the view of the sea.
Our experience in the restaurant was overall very poor. To start off the waiter was behaving as of he was doing us a favor -- looking frustrated, cutting us off in the middle of a sentence, rushing us to order. Furthermore, he didn't have a clue of what so the dishes consist of.The food experience was ok though spoiled by dessert -- sour oranges, unripe kiwis, grapes with stones and driest pears -- what a way to finish the dinner!?Finally, the live music was blasting so loud that it was impossible to speak, which made us very much look forward to the rare moments the musicians went on a break. The restaurant is located in a spa hotel which probably creates natural demand. They're also the only restaurant in Toila, making it a bit of monopoly. However, if you're coming by car it's worthwhile avoiding this place and making a trip to Johvi which commands a reasonable variety of restaurants of overall better quality at a lower price range.
