We loved it and our best meal in Sarajevo. Wonderful local specialities in a great atmosphere with plenty of locals. Family dinner - can recommend the ravioli, more like dumplings, the veal and veg Sabre/shashlik was nicely grilled, stuffed peppers were a treat. Good service and vibe and incredibly cheap for us tourists.

This Äevabdžinica is similar to other similar establishments in BaÅ¡ÄsrÅ¡ija, the menu, food, set-up... Yet, there is something special about food there. As long as youâre not a vegetarian youâll be in a happy place here. Food is tasty, quick, cheap and it quickly makes you want to try more. The only drawback is that during the peak hours itâs too crowded and the wait for a table can be quite long.

Story about "Zara iz duvara" is truly inspired by nature from its very beginnings. Literal translation is "Nettle from a Wall", where we put nettles on pedestal as one of the finest gifts of nature. Nettles have incredible application in alternative medic
One of the most remarkable experiences I had in the Sarajevo. While Bosnian cousine is easily the best in the Balkans, most restaurants usually tend to present the same dishes. Zara iz duvara is a lovely exception which offers the true, traditional homemade cuisine of Sarajevo. The food is great (I personally recommend tendons and veil medallions), the people is very kind and while the place itself isn't very big (reservation is strongly recommended), the atmosphere is pleasent and nostalgic. The service may result slow to some, but good things take their time and I truly appreciate it. Economically the quality/cost ratio is so good this restaurant should be a must for anyone who visits Sarajevo.

The Meat Burek is the best Iâve had. Not greasy, the pastry is flaky, the meat well seasoned, not too salty yet very flavorful, yummmmmm.

This is near to but not the same place as the Buregdzinica Sac
We went there and the place was full and buzzing with the locals. Everything is steaming hot because they continually male new pies. It is delicious, tastes absolutely amazing and it's very inexpensive. Great place to go!

Delicious and authentic Sarajevo ÄevapÄiÄi. It is hard to find a free place, but itâs worth to try some times. The dish itself is delicious, meat is well prepared and juicy, including lepinja (bread) and always fresh kajmak (cheese). The service is very kind and quick, the price is very good.

At the recommendation of our friend we had dinner with colleagues there. Very small tables and uncomfortable seats close to the kitchen, and due to that a bit noisy. Two ordered steaks, but they were not satisfied with the quality.

Klopa is a slang word for food in Bosnian language and we really mean good food! We are a non smoking, baby friendly reaustrant located on the main pedestrian steet in Sarajevo, in the city center. You will immediately feel like you are sitting in your ho
Why limit yourself to one of the recommended dishes when you can try the âmenuâ for 2 or 4 persons, that includes some of the gourmand highlights? With a Sarajevsko beer or a Rakia, your food will not feel lonely in the stomach.Enjoy the compromise between traditional cuisine and modern atmosphere.Thank you so much :)Best regards

What is the mystery with some places that they are always full? Well, Koliba was constantly buzzing with people, food was very well done with big portions, the waiters had a lot of work. Everybody told us it was expensive, but evidently it didn't matter, it was the in place.A bit noisy for me because of the music, otherwise I knew what we could get here: solid service.Thank You for comment. Hope You'll visit Koliba again.

Mountain house Rajska vrata (Doors of heaven) is located at the entrance to Rajska dolina (Paradise Valley), not far from the popular ski-lifts wishes, in the intersection several slopes. In addition to a warm fireplace, with local specialties and tamburi
We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here during our short visit to Jahorina and it is truly the best option for eating around the whole mountain. The views are of course perfect but so are the meals! You can go for the exquisite Jahorina ragu, the standard Äevapi or pljeskavica (Bosnian specialties) or the celestial sarma - minced meat rolled in sauerkraut - which was our daily choice. The staff is cool and they also serve home-made yogurt! The prices are a bit higher then what you will probably be used to in Bosnia but still very acceptable for any foreign wallet.
