Went in for a meal with colleagues who had flown in late and was greeted with friendly service. Drinks and starters came quickly and the mains were all tasty and without lurid colours but with good tastes and flavours. Overall good value for money and friendly...yes you can get posher food but for a good standard curry this was very good.

Dined here with my husband on a Thursday evening. First visit and we were the only ones eating in. So, a really quiet evening, staff were unintrusive, but needed prompting to get their attention. Ordered off the main menu, had poppadoms a starter to share, two mains with sides (pilau rice, sag, bombay potato) and a couple of soft drinks. Reasonable price at £42. The food itself was ok in flavour but I've never seen anything so brightly coloured which was a bit off putting! However, when we left we noticed sign in the window which offered a choice of 3 courses for a fixed price of £7.95 per person on Thursday nights (and the choices weren'tfar off what we had ordered). While I was happy with the meal it was disappointing the set menu wasn't offered to us.

Late decision to grab a curry, ordered and paid and then waited and waited, after 40 minutes chased up the order to be told - im not your waiter - so I went into the kitchen to inquire - absolute madness was told its coming - one minute - actually turned up 5 minutes later - when we got the food home - wrong rice orders and luke warm. What was interesting is that other waiting customers were offered small beers ( i didn't want one but the offer would have been nice) . However overwhelming was the very rude waiter that repeated " i dont look after you Im not your waiter" very well done - thats going to make me want to return isnt it ? his reply well thats your choice ......We dont need you.
