Itâs a beautiful restaurant .... very friendly service , the menu is quite cheap ,they have varieties of European foods. Great for foreigners Thanks for the feedback! You are welcome.
I am glad I discovered this place! It is conveniently located near a train station and a center of Grodno. If you travel with kids, the Zhilber's park with a bunch of attractions is nearby, too. The atmosphere is very cozy, service is prompt and polite. They offer potato pancakes with cheese, fish, turkey, chicken, pierogi (or you may call them dumplings), and waffles. Our big crowd tried them all and everything was fresh, delicious and authentic. For dessert, we had an icecream. Oh, and don't forget to have a sip of wine! We had an unforgettable Georgian wine but there is a quiet selection of different beverages, too. But besides good food and service, you literally can "touch the history" there. According to locals who lived in Grodno during and right after WW2, in grocery stores were built small windows through which people received soap, flour or bread, only one item, and this restaurant has this exact window!!! So, it is worth to check this place out even just to see that saved piece of history. Enjoy!O! Thank You Very Much

I went there several times with my colleagues to celebrate New Year and what can I say. The style of this restaurant is like in 90-s or something like that. The ceiling is too high, too much ligth, too the service is from that times too :) :) So if your aim is to see the restaurant from our USSR past - welcome there. All these words are according to my impressions, of course.

We visited the place for the family dinner (7 people). Our goal was primarily to check out local cuisine.First of all the interior. The restaurantâs interior space was designed to recreate the atmosphere of a medieval cellar. The execution is very good and the opened up old stone and brick work pairs nicely with the modern elements. Very impressive are the iron-work elements of the ceiling and the walls - they create a certain uniqueness. This impression is enhanced further by the array of metal figurines by the same author that are placed throughout the restaurant.(One suggestion for improvement is the air conditioning - the place was quite warm and they try to mitigate it by placing floor fans throughout the sitting area.)Having come for local food experience we ordered accordingly. For the appetizers we had a board of local meats and a platter of vegetables. This was rather underwhelming. Vegetables were very plain both in flavor and In presentation . Meats were somewhat better but still nothing exciting. Then the main course came - we all ordered several versions of potato pancakes - with meat & with mushroom sauce. These came out excellent and we really enjoyed them - both the presentation and the taste. It needs to be said that some of our party members found the chanterelles sauce bitter, while others didnât have the same experience. However the general consent was that the potato pancakes were totally worth the visit.Overall it was an enjoyable visit. Will be back there for sure and it would be nice if they continue working on improving dining experience.

Excellent Belarusian food for moderate prices served in a self-service restaurant buffet-style on the 4th floor of the Neman shopping centre in the main drag Vulica Sovetskaya at number 18. Dishes are indicated in both Russian & English.I was unsure what sized portions to serve myself, but at the till all became clear - the dishes are weighed. They are also priced per starter, main, etc., so make sure you put the right food on the right plate! I stuffed myself with liver & onion + two meatballs + rice & vegetables + large coke = BYN 15.21/â¬6.75

The Neman Beer Restaurant was right next to our hotel, so we could eat without having to walk miles. In fact it was in the cellar of the hotel, reached by a separate entrance in a side street, another copybook Eastern European brick-vaulted cellar bar. A dour waitress showed us to a table â fortunately the place was barely half-full â and relinquished us to a colleague who could speak English. The menu was a rich source of garbled English; I still donât know what âfinger-shoved sausagesâ might be, since I was wary of ordering them. Sausages less exotically described would do for me, beef ones, rather fatty, with fried potatoes and mushrooms. My wife had something called âroasted fatâ, which looked like strips of bacon fat draped over potatoes and tasted better than it sounds. Local vodka for her, two half-litres of Gambrinus beer for me. All perfectly good. The place described itself as a sports bar, and there were three or four screens round the walls showing different matches, but for a blessing they were all turned down almost to inaudibility. We left perfectly satisfied.
