Breakfast - brunch - lunch - sandwiches- quiches - salads - tea - many coffees - pancakes - pie - ice cream - smoothies - juices - many more!
A brilliant place to meet friends for a catch up or even for a quiet sit down after a busy day shopping. My favourites: the croques and of course the pancakes - but which one to choose? And then the teas - waw - so many to choose from and so beautifully presented. Go! You won't be disappointed!

This is a very small place so you have to make a reservation to be sure they have a table for you. It's located beside the famous canals of Bruges in a charming building with a charming and cozy interior. Very friendly people. They have also a beautiful terrace at the back next to the canals. And the food is delicious, also the cocktails are great! Price/quality!

I had the suggestion of the day for lunch, which was a typical dish (vispannetje), albeit with french fries for I guess the tourists. Before there were some olives as well as pumkin soup and bread. The soup was ok, but lacked flavour. The same can be said for the main course, in which the little shrimp were not freshly peeled, and the whole was rather watery. The service was attentive and friendly, and the setting is nice. Plus point is that it was open, even in November. A negative point for small eaters is that you cannot order just a starter. You really think 19 euroâs is too much for what you got?For the price you payed; 19â¬; you got a pumpkin-carrot soup with fresh baked bread and butter, a portion of olives with garlic, a fishermanâs plate with steamed saumon, steamed cod, mussels and FRESHLY PEELED shrimps, a fish "waterzooi" sauce and gratinated with parmesan cheese, french fries âà volontéâ and mayonaise!!! But you still think 19 euroâs is much too expensive for this??? This is so FUNNY!!!! You really make us laugh :-) :-) !!! I do not know what you are used to pay for soup, bread, olives and a fisherman's plate!!!The âwaterzooiâ-sauce, you call it âwateryâ⦠???????And all our starters can be ordered for main course â¦!!!!! Do not lie!!!So please be correct en fair when you put something on Tripadvisor! Certainly when you only pay 19 euroâs for staying in a restaurant!

The combination of different kinds of breakfasts, light lunches (salads, sandwiches and seasonal specials) and our used-book store create a relaxing atmospere. We like to surprise with tasty, healthy food. Organic and vegetarian options are always availabl
We had breakfast here on our last day in Bruges. My wife had an omelette and I had the bacon/waffles/cream option after reading a previous review. The setting is lovely. Staff pleasant. Atmosphere nice. We perhaps just chose the wrong items and forgot to ask the right questions. The bacon waffles/cream option was just wrong. It repeated on me the whole way across the channel. My wife doesn't eat butter but found the omellette had been cooked in it and the butter had soaked into the bread. Again, possibly she should have asked. These along with two lattes and a 'large' breakfast coffee (not as large as I had imagined) came to over â¬30. As I say, we may have been better at asking about the food but overall, even if we had enjoyed everything, I think it expensive for what it is.

If full grade is 5 points, I will give my grading regarding the following aspects:Hanger steak, chimichurri sauce, watercress, Hasselback potatoes: 5Catch of the day (sea bass), mashed potatoes from chevril, cassave, mussel sauce: 5Mocktail: 4Finger foods as complimentary: 4Appearance: 5Portion size: 3Value: 4Clean: 4Service: 4Environment: 5This stylish bistro is definitely a good place to relax by dining the tasty dishes and beverage. This restaurant is decorated by vibrant colors and entertaining figures to make a special atmosphere here. The main dishes were as good as the decoration of this restaurant. Not only the delicate flavor, but also had outstanding garnishing and food presentation. Sea bass with mussel sauce was a brilliant way to combination that made this dish with condensed umami flavor. Hanger steak is one kind of steak which needs an advanced cooking ability to deal with the chewy texture. This restaurant did well one this dish, not too bloody like a raw meat and not too chewy. I could taste the natural flavor steak in every single meat.According to the above reasons, I recommend the guests who travel to Brugge not to miss this outstanding bistro.

Lovely meal after a day wandering. The starters were actually the highlight for us. Cheese croquettes, sweetbread croquettes and chefs special mushrooms were absolutely spectacular. Mains were also yum (hot potato, stew and tartar) but not quite as outstanding as the starters. Friendly staff and overall great evening. Definitely recommend adding this restaurant to your trip to Brugges.
