We enjoyed every second of our dining experience at Gasterij Rubens! The view is outstanding and the food was incredible! We recommend the Ruben's Steak and Anouk's Springrolls. The waitress was detail oriented and very helpful. We look forward to our next visit and try out the boat picnic package.

Invited by friends we enjoyed a good meal on a wet and windy Autumn night. Service is odd, the main course eventually arrived but proved worth waiting for.A bit chilly at first and not well lit, we warmed to the place as the evening progressed. They try hard, we hope they will be successful.

Whilst wandering around Veere, we stumbled upon this restaurant. To be honest we were slightly disappointed. Staff very friendly, lovely location and decor. Nevertheless there was a discrepancy between the service, food and image they portray. Food was disappointing and we both had stomach troubles afterwards. We don't mind splurging on good food and wine, but the price quality ratio was not up to scratch.

Atmosphere is ace. The food is very good and the club, the bar, the personnel make this a top home-from-home sort of place. The prices are good and the quantity likewise. Don`t expect a Michelin-star sort of place (hey- this is a yacht club restaurant and bar ), but do expect a tasty and "gezellig" visit !!

Located in the basement of the medieval Scottish houses this restaurant caters for tourists and as such it is acceptable. Staff is friendly but the dishes are not "above normal". The great vaults have been spoiled by modern paintings.

Anachronistic shipping artefacts adorn this place, hardly evoking the historic Peperboom ship it is named after. The tuna starter dish was listed to be served with (a.o.) wasabi. Other than some wasabi coloured cocktail nuts with little flavour. When I queried this the waitress went away to ask the cook but never came back with the answer.Otherwise the food was OK but not special. A tea cup was served with a major chip in the rim (see photo). Not good.

My family and I stopped here for a quick lunch. It was a busy summer day so we weren't sure what to expect. Well, WOW. The food was absolutely amazing. I had amazing cheese croquettes and my brother and father had a smoked salmon sandwich. They both said it was the best smoked salmon they had ever had. Highly recommend!

De Werf, the runner-up winner of the Misset Horeca Terrace Top 100 in the Netherlands. You can enjoy afforable luxury (with local & pure products) during lunch & diner with the best view of the harbor and the authentic city of Veere.
Very good restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Price-quality. Maybe they could serve the mussel croquettes a bit nicer, on a plate and with cutlery. Normally it's a tapa and you can also get it as a starter but they serve it to eat with your fingers or toothpicks. The wine is expensive, over 30 euros a bottle.
This is a nice bar and restaurant situated on the big square in the centre of Goes. Nice affordable dishes of the Dutch cuisine. The homemade applepie is a big recommendation. Besides the good food, there is also a wide range of Dutch and Belgium beers an
Baas Beveland restaurant was perfect ! Food was very nice & tasty and the waitress was very friendly ! I recommend it !Thank you for this kind recommendation.Team Baas Beveland

We visited this small brewery and all of us had different local brewed beers, and nobody was disappointed. It was a nice day, so we enjoyed the backyard outdoors seating. In case you have an hour or so to spare, a definite fun place to go. We did not have anything to eat there (just FYI).
