Went here with a big group. The fact that there is big sign in the same colors of a traffic sign saying "3 course menu for 29â¬" says everything. Place is very noisy and full due to the price. Service is very amateur. And the food was ok, but nothing remarkable. Not returning soon... Pity.

This tapas-restaurant is different from the regular tapas-restaurants. Lots of space, nice personnel, good tasting food. But... to make a reservation at this restaurant it looks like you have to try that almost two months in advance! Worth a try :-)

A nice place to go to when looking for coffee or tea (high teas also). Tea is made for you at your table, and a free bonbon comes with it. Nicely decorated. A place to come back to!Dear Jan Pieter, thank you very much for submitting this positive review. We are pleased that everything has been to your liking and hope to welcome you again soon at Brew.

One reviewer of Maeve Binchy"s books once compared reading one with sitting down in a favourite tearoom, with a pot of tea and a cake and your best friend. JE Theetafel is the personification of that experience. With everything home baked on the premises, Jorina, the owner, is more than likely to greet you in a flour covered apron. The welcome, however, will be warm, the cakes delicious and you will feel that you have stepped back in time, a gentler, kinder time.
If yo uare looking for somewhere to have lunch in Veenendaal, then look no further than Lef! With the demise of V&D, there has been a huge gap left in the lunch market and sadly there is not much choice in the centre. But, now we have Lef! Fresh food, locally sourced, prepared in the open kitchen so you can watch your food being prepared. Smoothies for every palate. And also for children who have there own area in which to play. So, next time you are hungry in Veenendaal, walk past McDonalds and go to the place one door down and you will be most pleasantly surprised.

We had received a voucher to eat here. Our previous experiences had not been great but decided to use the voucher to have lunch with our daughter as it was her birthday. Delighted to say that the service and food were very good. We had a lovely, long, leisurely lunch. Would we return? Yes. Could it improve? Also yes. Service could have been sharper.

Had lunch here. Good food but the price was way too high. 15 euros for a sandwich and two alcohol free beers. It was just the sandwich, no sides. Expected to see some salad and fries aside for this price. A bit of a disappointment.

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor while in Veenendaal. It is not located in the business area, but rather in a residential area. What a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and gave excellent recommendations on local cuisine and beer . Good choice if you are in the area.

The hotel and restaurant are two floors above the ground-level. Parking is easy (ground floor and 1st floor) but it does make for a rather spartan approach to the facilities. The restaurant is nicely laid out with comfortable seating. There is a reasonable choice for the dinner menu (which is in Dutch and English). Food is good, with reasonably sized portions. Service is perhaps a little slow, and the assumption is that drinks ordered with the meal will be served with the main course, not with a starter!Reservation is advised as the restaurant is busy. But in common with many places in the Netherlands, people tend to eat early in the evening.

I was very disappointed from the student dinner (15⬠for 3 courses). Having a look at the menu, it looks very nice, but the three courses for students were a big disappointment. To begin with, the courses we got are not available on the menu itself. The best course was the soup, unfortunately not more than three sips. As a maincourse, we got a hamburger, with low-quality meat (kind of a Frikandel) and a very small portion of fries. The vegetarian option was some kind of puff-pastry with a bit of cale. The dessert was a slice of pink gelee. All in all, this was unfortunately not even worth the 15⬠we paid. It seems to be a good restaurant and I am sure the food might be better, but I wouldn't go back there and would not recommend to take the student dinner.
