Restaurant Zebedeus, restaurant in Den Haag, is open 7 days a week. Restaurant Zebedeus offers a menu with fresh, local and mostly biological products.
For the price youâre paying to eat there, youâd think you were dining at a Michelin star restaurant but the food is not fantastic, in fact quite ordinary. We went there for an after art workshop to celebrate. The service was very slow. We sat there for an eternity in front of dirty dishes. Each course took ages to come. The bill for each person was just unreasonable. For example a simple panna cotta was â¬10.50. The vegetarian main which was a type of burger was â¬23.00. It was not worth it. The total I paid for three cocktails and three courses was â¬76.00. Hard to justify that expense. Steer clear.Hi Greenladybourne, thank you for your time to review us. We are shocked that your experience was so bad. A slow service is not excusable, altough it was a very busy night. With a group of ten although, there are always slow eaters and fast eaters. If you belong to the last category, it also may seem like a long time because we have to wait to clear the table untill everyone is finished.About the expenses: you had a three course meal and THREE cocktails, I don't think that 76 euro is outrageously to be honest. You had a three course meal for 39 euro and a regular price for one cocktail is around 10 euro. Prices in Michelin star restaurants are very different!I hope that you will visit us again to appreciate our fresh food and our usually outstanding service, as you can read in almost all of our other reviews!

Just what we needed! A lovely restaurant with wonderful food in a cosy setting. We were a group with some food restrictions, and for each of us these restrictions were handled well and without hiccups as we sometimes find. Vegetarian options were excellent as well. Two of us had the steak which was succulent and with a wonderful gorgonzola sauce, the others risotto vegetarian style and fish, all of which were wonderfully presented, Tantalising tastes, wonderful presentation and service with a Dutch smile. The only minus was the serving speed; it took too long between courses and although we do understand when the restaurant is fully booked it can be difficult, but waiting for 30 minutes between courses is too long. Perhaps more staff could help this?? Lovely touch was the sweets tray with our coffee's, enough to make for a memorable desert almost! We will return gladly.

For an excellent breakfast, lunch, High T or High wine you have to come to our restaurant in the older part of The Hague. Good service is provided! In summer come to our famous terrace.
This was close to our hotel, it was lunchtime, we were hungry and we hadn't tried a Dutch Pancake so we stopped in. Far exceeded my expectation. Place was busy with tourists and locals alike. Friendly, helpful waiter. Had the pancake with speck (pic attached) and a sampler plate of Spanish sandwiches. Waiter recommended a good Dutch beer. Customers in the room seemed happy, relaxed. Thanks for your review!

Calla's is named after the flower 'Calla', the Greek word for beautiful. With its serene loveliness and unassuming character, the Calla is the perfect emblem for the restaurant. The flower's serene beauty also inspired the interior design. Against a backgr
Have been visiting this restaurant for 12 years and the quality has always been very good. Oosterschelde lobster and asparagus to start, simple and perfect. A lobster and red mul main with risotto, again very good. Excellent strawberries and rhubarb dessert. Extensive and fairly priced winelist. The restaurant is situated in a quiet street and the interior is classy modern and timeless. Very friendly service.

French international restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner
I went to the âtwee herenâ bistro few weeks ago, and I had a very good experience there; because the bistro website mentions Palmette restaurant as âsisterâ restaurant, I decided to give it a shot..The restaurant was empty on Tuesday at 20:40, very warm inside, service rather slow and not excessively friendly.I had a bavette which was good, however all veggies were black burnedIn short, no atmosphere, cooking average, service average, prices not on the cheap side.

Thanks to the TripAdvisor reviews, we made a reservation for Spijs. What a wonderful restaurant. All the employees were friendly and accommodating. My husband and I both had the beef fillet. It is one of the best I've ever had - and we have dined at some pretty high end restaurants! It was cooked perfectly and was tasty and tender. I cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant.

Restaurant and coffee roastery in The Binckhorst in The Hague. Open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner.
I actually came across Capriole via Google as I wasn't totally sure about restaurant reviews on TripAdvisor. Menu is limited as compared to other places that I've been. And that allows Capriole to horne their skills in these dishes. We had the chicken burger, pulled pork sandwich, salad and mackerel sandwich. They were all very tasty. Coffee was pretty decent as well. But I'd say it's more tweaked to the Dutch way of enjoying coffee. I like mine thicker and more robust. We were staying with friends in Den Haag, and the one thing is that you will need your own transport to get to Capriole. I didn't manage to see any bus stops in the vicinity. Overall a very nice place to chill and catch up with friends.

We had the absolute delight of enjoying a culinary trip down The Hague memory lane last night. A wonderful trip, an awesome dinner, a party-like atmosphere, the simplicity of not having to choose on the menu and being served delicious dishes, the unmatched friendliness of our attendants (I thought in particular our waitress was going to have a zygomatic strain in the evening after smiling so beautifully and generously all evening), the quality of matching wines, the excitement of seeing all familiar places. And of course the excellent company we had. It was a really beautiful evening, with daylight on throughout. I cannot recommend this trip enough. It's not a restaurant, it's not a dinner, it's an unforgettable experience that builds bonds between its partakers. Treat yourself, hop on the (Hof)tram(mm)!

6@24, referring to the birthdays of the manager and her chef, offers amazingly good food, served in very ambitious recipes and when a la carte copious, dishes. Very well trained team, excellent executed dishes, based on amazingly brilliantly composed dishes. Had twice the wild oysters from Texel, overly delicious, beating the Gillardaud standard. But also the ris de veau, the Anjou pigeon , and the loupe de mer were all surprising dishes. I am convinced all dishes will prove to be perfect, as were the amuses. Solid quality of wines, with some interesting odd wines. All affordable wines were a bit young, but well served by the manager.Happy to be back here often and further test the chef!

Van Kinsbergen is a gastropub, brewery and diningroom in The Hague (Prins Hendrikplein, Zeeheldenkwartier). We are open all day for late breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch & drinks.
Found myself with a spare night in Den Haag prior to attending a conference across town, and set out to find supper. Van Kinsbergen had earned very good reviews on TA, so I felt it was worthy of a try, and it most certainly was.I was found a comfortable table by the excellent staff without having booked in advance. The pub was busy, but certainly not too overcrowded, and had a good vibe amongst a very mixed audience of groups, couples and individual diners. Clearly a mix between locals and visitors to Den Haag. Beer was cold, plenty of draft choices, and the 'Brand' lager was welcome after an evening of travelling. I opted for the Veal Stew, and it was really very good. The menu is short and largely 'on trend' but judging by the empty plates at other tables, it was obviously being enjoyed by all of the diners. I skipped dessert and enjoyed some Vegan sweets with coffee, and as with my main, they were excellent! Overall, great value for money, friendly, welcoming and smart. Van Kinsbergen clearly deserves its rapidly building reputation.
