This place is perfectly located for the train travellers and market visitors. Thousands visit the market every Wednesday but kawa doesn't open until then in the holidays! By return then lots of people have gone elsewhere. When open they serve great coffee, home made teas and juice and mean sandwiches (bokes). They need a knife and fork to handle them but they taste terrific.

A great allrounder restaurant split into sections to cover one customer or the whole family. Ideal if you have children, some large tables and big fishtanks are a great idea. Each month has a speciality, (Wild Game in November) as well as the main menue. The staff are all good with English and only too willing to explain any dish or the dish of the day. You can eat 4/5* while the children have what they prefure.

Sunday night and looking for a restaurant. I had been here for a (great) lunch before but this was a night for something extra. We took a four course menu with starter, main course, cheese and a desert. Staff was very friendly and helpful and treated us as if we had been there often before. The food was impeccable. The plate decoration was refined as well. Park West offers a wide selection of wines by glass which was perfect for us. This is a place we will definitely come back to!

Het gebaar (the gesture) serve wonderfull dishes. We especially enjoyed the starter and the main course. The desert are more a work of art. We food they were a bit to sweat but you will surely enjoy it... The starter tuna and mushrooms just were out of this world and tasted like the beach (tuna) and the fall (mushrooms). This was explosive!!

We came tot the Brasserie De Specht after a long business meeting .Most local restaurants or Brasseries finished services . At De Specht the welcome was fine and the food more than correct . Nice and friendly staff . Good place for Lunch with Business contacts .

The service is poor , the food is very average . I remember asking cheese croquettes and they came soaked in a cocktail sauce !! it was terrible ! we decided to give it another try , but we were not luckier .. we asked a fish and chips and the fish was chewy .. we asked a round sandwich and it was disappointing.. we even had to complain about our tea being cold !! we had very little attention when complaining kindly . nothing was done to fix it !
