Best hotel with the best food. Super easy parking close to Maastricht. Food and bar is top notch. Breakfast is also stellar. Hotel is recently remodeled and rooms are clean and modern. Very comfortable beds.

The evening started well and we were given the menus and the owner explained the specialities, one of which was goats cheese salad with honey dressing and pine nuts. We are 3 girlfriends, 2 of us are vegetarian, and my friend ordered this salad.When it came, the salad was covered in bacon and the cheese wrapped in bacon too. My friend, who speaks flemmish, asked the owner if he could exchange it with a vegetarian version as there had been no indication of bacon on this seemingly vegetarian salad when he had explained it to us.The owner immediately became aggressive and rude and said that he could not change the salad, he could only remove the bacon and give her back the same salad. His tone was unprofessional, uncooperative and extremely rude. When we tried to leave he locked us in the restaurant and called the police until we paid for a dinner we didnât have. We offered to pay for the drinks and the starter but he refused to let us leave until we paid for the salad with bacon we didnât order.Awful experience, I cannot stress enough how traumatic it was.Reactie van de eigenaar7 uur geledenEerst even iets rechtzetten. Terwijl je reeds een voorgerecht en drank hadden genuttigd en waar alle hoofdgerechten voor 3 personen op tafel stonden, staan jullie recht en vertellen jullie me dat je de zaak zal verlaten en niets zal betalen. Daarenboven chanteren jullie me nog met te zeggen dat als je zou betalen je ons slechte reviews zal geven op sociale media. Zo laag bij de grond dat ik het zelf niet kon geloven !Daarop heb ik de politie gebeld. De politie gaf ons volledig gelijk en gaf u de keuze: te betalen of ze zouden een proces verbaal opmaken. Uiteindelijk heb u uw fout ingezien en ons vergoed. Alle aanwezigen in de zaak gaven mij nog eens ferm gelijk.En wat uw commentaar betreft op sociale media: Die bewijzen dan nog maar eens wat voor triest persoon u bent. Nooit meegemaakt ! U bent de eerst waarvoor ik de politie moest bellen ! BRAVO PS; Deze lieve dame stalkt ons nu op sociale media : alles wordt doorgegeven aan de politie van Brugge met het interventienummer van de politie van 22 april 2019 22h00

This ancient Bruges pub was pointed out to me on a bike tour of Bruges. I returned back and found it is well worth a visit. Historic is an understatement as we are talking about 4 hundred years ago. The inside is fascinating and the garden charming.I enjoyed my drink here, steeped in history. and highly recommend for pub lovers who also love history..

This is a very small place so you have to make a reservation to be sure they have a table for you. It's located beside the famous canals of Bruges in a charming building with a charming and cozy interior. Very friendly people. They have also a beautiful terrace at the back next to the canals. And the food is delicious, also the cocktails are great! Price/quality!

We had breakfast here on our last day in Bruges. My wife had an omelette and I had the bacon/waffles/cream option after reading a previous review. The setting is lovely. Staff pleasant. Atmosphere nice. We perhaps just chose the wrong items and forgot to ask the right questions. The bacon waffles/cream option was just wrong. It repeated on me the whole way across the channel. My wife doesn't eat butter but found the omellette had been cooked in it and the butter had soaked into the bread. Again, possibly she should have asked.These along with two lattes and a 'large' breakfast coffee (not as large as I had imagined) came to over â¬30. As I say, we may have been better at asking about the food but overall, even if we had enjoyed everything, I think it expensive for what it is.

This restaurant is decorated by vibrant colors and entertaining figures to make a special atmosphere here.The main dishes were as good as the decoration of this restaurant. Not only the delicate flavor, but also had outstanding garnishing and food presentation. Sea bass with mussel sauce was a brilliant way to combination that made this dish with condensed umami flavor. Hanger steak is one kind of steak which needs an advanced cooking ability to deal with the chewy texture. This restaurant did well one this dish, not too bloody like a raw meat and not too chewy. I could taste the natural flavor steak in every single meat.According to the above reasons, I recommend the guests who travel to Brugge not to miss this outstanding bistro.

Lovely meal after a day wandering. The starters were actually the highlight for us. Cheese croquettes, sweetbread croquettes and chefs special mushrooms were absolutely spectacular. Mains were also yum (hot potato, stew and tartar) but not quite as outstanding as the starters. Friendly staff and overall great evening. Definitely recommend adding this restaurant to your trip to Brugges.
