Bacon! Eggs! Coffee! Aviation-themed breakfast and lunch diner located at 306 East Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti, Michigan where "Rosie The Riveter" and Willow Run Bomber plant history is part of our culture. Classic American diner. Pick up orders availabl
We waited in a line of around 30 people to be seated. The decor was great and all of the staff were dressed like Rosie the Riveter! All women were given a rose. We werenât aware that today was Rosie the Riveter day! This was our first visit. Our 3 year old daughter loves planes. The reviews didnât disappoint. The food all comes in large portions and was delicious. The prices were very fair. The service and atmosphere were great. Weâll definitely be back to try more items off of the menu. We ordered the French toast with captain crunch, country fried steak and the sunrise open face biscuit.

If you are looking for a Trending Place or a Cordon Bleu Restaurant, then walk away. The Golden Egg is an excellent place to get a good meal, at a great price with outstanding service. My vegetarian skillet was amazing. Broccoli was charred enough to bring out itâs sweetness, potatoes were awesome and eggs cooked perfectly.I expected to hear Flo say, âMel, Eat My Grits.â I will returnEin Prosit.

I recently started ordering from this diner because they delivered. I ordered the country fried steak platter. IT WAS THE BEST COUNTRY FRIED STEAK AND GRAVY THAT I HAVE EVER HAD. I had raisin toast with it. It tasted like homemade. I found out they order it from a bakery and it is so delicious. Plus the gravy is homemade and it's mouth watering delicious. I always ask for a second container of it. They put a LOT of food on your plate. I eat half one day and the other half the next. My daughter once ordered a hamburger and fries. The pattie was homemade. not a thin premade piece of meat. it was hot, thick, and juicy. Her fries were hot and cooked perfectly! The owner delivers the meal and when I complimented him about the food, he said that everything is homemade. My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and loved it! I am from the south and it's hard to find southern cooking up here. I realize I cannot eat this way everyday. But it's a nice treat when I get in the mood for it! Awesome food people! . Due to health problems, I haven't been able to get out much. I will tell you though that the staff is very friendly over the phone. Never did I think I would find such a great place sitting all alone in Ypsilanti,MI. Yummyyyyyyyyyyy..I'm getting ready to order some now! :)

Two large breakfasts and two drinks were only $14.50, including tax! Fast, friendly service, immaculate restrooms.
We went to this restaurant because it was in downtown Ypsilanti close to our house. I hate to write a bad review BUT I have nothing good to say about it. They had us enter through the backdoor and walk through the kitchen to our table. Our menu's were very dirty. But our dumb butts decided to order anyway. Te food was horrible. I ate 1 bite of mine. My fiancee ate about half o his BUT.only because he is Type 1 Diabetic and was going into low blood sugar. HE HAD TO EAT. Even our plastic cups with water in them were cracked and looked dirty. We sent those back and they brought out some that looked about the same as the ones we sent back. We will never ever go back to that place. Our server stayed behind the counter using her smart phone the entire time we were there. This place is a health hazard, plain and simple.
