Worcester (/ˈwʊstər/ WUUS-tər, locally [ˈwʊstə] ( listen)) is a city and the county seat of Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. Named after Worcester, England, as of the 2010 Census the city's population was 181,045, making it the second most populous city in New England after Boston. Donât be intimidated when you see a line of people sitting in the waiting room to get into Lou Rocâs diner: they move the line along quickly. Service is friendly and very efficient. Their breakfasts are delicious, in fact thatâs all Iâve ever eaten there. My favorite is the homemade corn beef hash eggs Benedict breakfast. I always need to take half of the corn beef hash home and have it with eggs again the next morning. All the eggs Benedicts are wonderful as well, simply canât go wrong. Itâs a cute diner that has a front porch added onto the front.

Jet lagged and hungry after flying in from Asia to attend our daughter's college graduation we searched online for a breakfast spot that opened early. The Miss Worcester Diner was very close to our accommodations and opened at 5 AM. This place is in an original diner car that had been built in the factory building across the street. The food was classic griddle cooked diner breakfasts of our childhood, tasty and satisfying. While we didn't try it, the specialty french toast looked amazing. The owner, other staff, and other customers were very friendly. Miss Worcester Diner did not disappoint.

Went for the 2nd time in Dec, 2017. Sat at the counter; had to wait for the waitress to recognize me even though it wasn't busy. I remembered the same experience on my first visit Menu was a basic breakfast menu, nowhere near the number of offerings at Lou Roc's Diner and none of the weekend specials that Lou Roc's offers; just the basic menu. Food was fine, service continued to be spotty. Neither the waitress nor the cook ever cracked a smile although they were friendly to the regulars. Not worth going back unless I'm just stuck for time and I'm nearby; but definitely nothing to draw me in. NOT a go-to place.

Been going to the Parkway for over 40 years. Grandchildren of original owner (one of the brothers) have taken over and gave the place an update (not the lunch car, thank goodness! just the attached restaurant). Breakfast is superb! (I am VERY fussy!!!) and the bloody marys......the best!
