We go here at least twice a month and sometimes more often. We have visited all 3 locations (Derry, Windham and Salem). since live in Windham we frequent that location on most occasions. The food is made when you order it. Portions are large and we usually have food to bring home. Please note the Windham location closes at 2 pm each day. The Salem location stays open for dinner.

When you just have to have diner food, Mary Ann's is the place to go. It's decorated like the quintessential American diner, and the menu is really great. We usually opt for the usual eggs, toast, home fries, and either bacon or sausage. But you can get healthier fare if you want to. When election season rolls around, you'll often see a lot of famous politicians pop in to greet the diners, which is sort of fun. Just be aware that the parking can be an issue. But it's still worth a trip.

Three of us had dinner here around 7:00 on a Sunday evening. There was a nice crowd and we were seated immediately. The place is decorated in a 50's diner motif with a nice soundtrack to match. Our server Laura was great. We placed our drink order and reviewed the extensive menu. They do serve off the breakfast menu all day as well as either the lunch or dinner menu at corresponding times. We ordered the ham & cheese omelet with hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast, the fish and chips and the grilled cheese and ham. All were served timely, hot and tasted great. Laura kept our drinks topped off. We had a few of the desert options and they were very good. For the quality and portion size the prices seemed reasonable. We will be back.

I stayed in Salem for 4 days and on my departing day I looked up breakfast/cheap places to eat on Trip Advisor. I wish I had gone to this place for breakfast the other mornings. I had 2 eggs over medium, home fires, 2 pieces of wheat toast and a huge piece of ham for $6.48. You can't get a better price for breakfast than this. Service was great and the food service was fast also. My waitress keep checking on me to see if there was anything I needed but didn't come by too often. I would definitely eat breakfast at this place if I was ever in Salem again. The other food servings I saw coming out looked large. I gave my waitress a larger tip than normal because of the prompt service and the reasonable prices of the food.
Located on Route 28 ( directly across from Sullivan Tire ) this very small, yet delightful restaurant should be a must stop for everyone. The food is made from scratch, and is absolutely delicious. The service is friendly, prompt and very professional.Open for breakfast and lunch, it is well worth a visit. The restaurant also offers catering and delivery.
