This must be the most popular spot for lunch in town. Most lined up for the steam table but I opted for the menu - small catfish(4 pieces) with hushpuppies (4) and 2 sides (fried okra and pinwheels (potato slices with a spiral embossing then fried). Tasty but nothing special.Older crowd - about 60 as an average.Sure beats fast food.

Didn't expect a cafe at the Thousand Trails campground; so we had to try it.We ate breakfast and I thoroughly enjoyed the Rueben sandwich made into an omelet. My wife's breakfast burrito had lots of meat; but not much "burrito" type of fixins.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
We went for a late breakfast. The staff was friendly. Biscuits and gravy tasted like a packaged gravy mix. No seasoning on the hash browns or the eggs. Our breakfast was brought to our table and our waitress said they were cooking my pancake now. About 10 minutes later my pancake arrived. The butter didn't even melt on it. So it probably was cooking when she said. The table next to us after about 10 minutes asked another waitress if they could get their drinks. Cleaning the tables was wiping the food onto the floor and leaving it there. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is it was alot of food for the price. Just add alot of salt and pepper. We won't be back.
