Following a bad experience at their Pickering location, see the pictures for a big difference in portion sizes. The staff are great, always friendly and work well at this fast pace location as it is always busy. This is how a three egg special (scrambled) should look like. The Brooklin location actually is one of the best ones in the Durham Region.

Stopped here for a quick lunch.Had California Club Special which was ok but nothing special and my wife had a toasted western which was also ok but again nothing special.Pop is served in a can with glass of ice which is sooooo food truck!Server was so so made us feel like we were a bother asking any questions.I would be worried to have a steak here like the name of the restaurant suggests.Nothing here to rave about very average but pricey.

We have ordered from Whitby Station Restaurant several times with Skip the dishes and weâve never been disappointed. Thereâs something for everyone and the food is delicious!! Must Tries are the eggs benedict, burgers and my favourite is the banana bread french toast. So good ! My husband and I went for breakfast last Sunday and it was busy. The restaurant is newly opened. Itâs simple but inviting atmosphere is great! The restaurant looked clean and there is plenty of space to sit comfortably and not feel as crammed in like most breakfast restaurants. Great for families and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and apologized for the wait for our food. The young sisters that run the restaurant are very nice. They take the time to chat, fill your coffee cup regularly and thank you personally for coming. We already loved their food and now that we have been to the restaurant and met the hardworking young ladies behind Whitby Station Restaurant...We are huge fans and will definitely be back again! The best banana bread waffles I have ever had. Try something from their wide variety and Iâm sure you will have a new favourite or favourites. lol. Support local business. Eat at Whitby Station Restaurant and enjoy !!

Remember the burgers you used to get as a kid at the local burger joint? This is that kind of place. Not industrial Mc-burgers, not high priced boutique burgers. Big, juicy, simply made beef burgers with generous portions, old school chunky fries and friendly staff. Nothing phoney, nothing pretentious, just good food at a reasonable price. You should go if you love a good burger.

I have eaten there twice so far. It is a diner that brings back great memories. The staff are all fantastic, very helpful, and very friendly. I have food allergies, they are extremely accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend experiencing this charming diner at least once; if you have not yet been. Great for all ages!

I did stop by this place while running around one night and had a craving for a burger so I gave it a try. The server was quite friendly and I did like the interior and the theme they were going for. The prices were o.k and the menu was decent.The burger itself was good but nothing great just a typical Harvey's style frozen patty grilled up and masked with pickles and various toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good but in this day and age of so many other great burger places like Baldwin Street Burger etc Pete's for me is just average.
