I have been in this restaurant for a Saturday brunch. I love the concept, all â0 Kmâ ingredients used to cook healthy recipes for both vegan and vegetarian. Nevertheless I think that cook should be improved, mostly the cook timing, I found the different kind of cereals and vegetables not properly cooked. I liked healthy and sugarfree blueberry muffins and strawberries cake. Keep improving :D
Really good inn given that youâre pretty much on the mountain in the middle of nowhere. The amenities are quite basic though - you either get a mattress on the floor of large common rooms or an actual bed in a 4 person bunk room for a few (7) euros more. But you get a pillow and a warm blanket too (you need your own sheet or sleeping bag insert) and the room was actually quite cozy and warm. Small table, two chairs, a few hooks and cabinets for storage. Only one power point in room which may make it hard if all of you need to charge your devices. Common bathrooms for male and female. You have to pay for a hot shower (3 euros for 4 minutes). Unfortunately, they donât provide soap or hand wash, which I really think they should for hygienes sake. Mostly clean so they must give everything a good scrub, but I guess it also depends who youâre there with. Also, you should take off your hiking shoes before going upstairs to prevent large amounts of dirt and mud from being taken up. There are laundry lines outside to dry stuff and even a drying room inside. The inn accomodates quite a large number of people - there were lots of hikers as well as a bunch of soldiers who looked like they were doing some exercises in the mountains so it was quite noisy especially before bed and early in the morning when people are moving about, using the bathroom and packing. Walls are thin and footsteps at the stairs are heard quite clearly. The food is quite delicious and there are drinks aplenty. You can get a big hearty breakfast for 9 euros. I really wish they accepted credit cards as I was running out of cash. The staff are friendly and can speak English. The best part is obviously the location and scenery. Nothing beats that. I only stayed a night but it looks like a great base to explore the mountains more.

My wife and I were stopping at the Landhotel Oberwirt, so of course we also tried the restaurant. We sat outdoors on the terrace under the cover of large trees. It is a nice setting with a nice ambiance. The service is excellent and very, very friendly. Completely attentive and always with a smile. Nothing too much trouble. The food was great too. They have a nice selection of local and Austrian dishes. We both ordered soup from the seasonal menu, my wife ordering the Asparagus soup and I ordered the Wild Garlic soup. Both were excellent, served very quickly, although my soup wasn't quite up to temperature. The flavour was very good. For mains, I had the Steierer Cordon Bleu Schnitzel (pumpkin seed breaded veal schnitzel filled with smoked ham and cheese), whilst my wife chose the Tiroler kasespetzle (Cheese 'spetzle' noodles). We both enjoyed our mains. Mine was truly excellent and I really enjoyed it. My wife said the same about hers. Nice big portions too.I had a beer beforehand and a Blaufrankisch red wine afterwards. Again excellent.I would love a place like this on my doorstep - The prices are a little higher than what we are used to, but we both really liked the experience and our meals.

We came on a Friday evening without a reservation and the place was practically full. After 10 minutes we got a table, after another 10 minutes we got the menu. It looked like a busy night at Egger's. We started with Insalata Gambertetti which is a mixed salad with Shrimp. Than we ordered a Pizza Parma with Buffalo Mozzarella, Parma Ham and Rocket Salad with Parmesan flakes. Our entries were Baked Lasagna with Ragout, and Grilled fillet of Sea Bream,Salad and Rosemary Potatoes. The Italian dishes were very good, the fish was less than average. One should learn not to order fish at an Italian restaurant

Festsaal was pretty empty when we visited but it really shouldn't be, the food as fantastic! Plus the service was excellent, particularly as we had a baby with us. Seems that mushrooms are a speciality, not a bad thing though, all cooked to perfection!

Shorter menu that other places and specialises in Bayern and Swiss cooking styles . slightly more expensive than other restaurants so for me better for couples and groups than with children . Food was very well cooked and nice interior . Enjoyable visit .

Super !!!
