Stopped in Van Buren during train layover, and restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait. Not your usual frozen patty fried on the grill, but an irregular shaped burger full of flavor. Fries were good, too. Onion rings were tasty, but not homemade. Service was quick, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the old building.

We saw a BBQ outside shed with an incredible aroma. If you are looking for the BBQ meat that gets its flavor from the slow heat of hardwood rather than the sauce, look no further. We had no less than four staff people asking if everything was OK! We will be back and feel our rating will go from for to five

Well all I can say is if you like workers with NO GLOVES handling your toast... And one of them tattooed from wrists up, coming in from out back, dumping out a loaf of bread and handling every piece to put back in the bag... And then NO GLOVES... Handling plates and prepared food....you might like this place... GROSS!!!!! All food preparers should wear gloves. We all know where the dudes hands have been!!!!!!!!!! Oh the place was covered in flies.... Very appetizing. Now let me go throw up!
