We went for the liver and onions and were more than pleased with the liver. The sad part was that our mashed potatoes were cold. We didn't have the time to send them back so we just omitted eating them.On the positive side, our waitress was extremely nice and outgoing. I'm sure she would of been happy to correct the matter but like I said, we were rushed for time.

Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch. Come in and enjoy the Niagara regions best breakfast restaurant has to offer. Eggs n Bacon, Variety of Omelettes, Pancakes, Waffles, Crepes, Fish and Chip Friday's, and a Vast Lunch Menu with Home Cooked Soups.
They really know what they are doing at the Early Bird. Eggs are delivered exactly as ordered. Dishes are presented creatively. Even the French toast leaves you with a cuddly warm feeling.BUT. Don't go to the bathroom when you are finished your meal and spoil things for yourself. There you will find the most vile sewer smell. Please please please Early Bird. Walk into your men's washroom yourself. Then call a plumber and fix it. If you don't, you will soon ruin a good business.

Recently went for breakfast at Lesters. Great atmosphere, old movie paraphernalia, including movies playing (we were watching Close Encounters), and a menu that you need to read from start to finish to see all the great names on the menu items. Service was excellent, although early in the morning on a week day, so not too busy, and food was very good. I had the eggs and hash brown mash, which was good, lots and lots of food. Our table also had the french toast and the porridge, all agreed the food was good, and plentiful. No one left hungry.Fun, good service, and good food.

My sister and I went there for a last breakfast. It was her first time there and we went on my previous experiences there. We had sausage, eggs, homefries and toast and were not at all disappaointed. The plate was lovely and even had a slice of orange. The home fries were like the home-made type that we like, not the bagged and then deep-fried type. Service was fast and good although there were only 2-3 customers besides ourselves when we went. I have seen it much busier, especially on a Friday at noon. Will definitely return. My only negative comment is that we had to ask for coffee refills even though there were more than 1 staff working and it was not busy at the time.

We found this little place with a very big heart and big breakfast. The food at Sunrise Cafe was yummy. Looking around at constant busy tables and lots of regulars we knew we couldnât go wrong. Ps pick up some tarts on your way out!

Dave likens the menu to Ween's 'Pure Guava' album. An eclectic mix of foods and flavours he has picked up from working with great folks around the country and travels in China. Like Ween, food can't be pigeon-holed. A family affair, The Diner House 29 off
We've been a regular customer for the past year and I can't say enough good things about this litthe hole on the wall. Can I start with cleanliness, Excellent, extremely caring staff and the little man in the Kitchen never ceases to amaze me with all his gourmet breakfast items. Most times there might be a little wait for a table but the end result makes it all worthwhile. Overall I have to give this Gem a 5 Star rating, To Dave & Annie "You have the Magic Touch", we enjoy each and every visit.
