100% Vegan Comfort Food with a southern twist - Mostly Organic, All Non-Gmo. Family-friendly. All are welcome! We've opened our second location downtown Springfield at 338 Main Street - come for a New Orleans vibe with live music and a bar.
This small cafe has very good purely vegan food. The recipes are modeled on American comfort food. I had the Neatloaf, a take off on meatloaf, but made with tempeh. It came with steamed spinach, "macaroni and vegan cheese," and cornbread. My wife had the mushroom strips made up like jerk chicken along with the spinach and coleslaw made with vegan mayonnaise. She also had tofu noodle soup with a biscuit. All the food was very good.Awesome!! Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It means a lot to us. We hope to see you again soon - so happy you and your wife enjoyed everything. Cheers!Sheree

Love this little cafe!! used to go years ago when I lived in that part of town... went there for Sunday morning breakfast... It is as great as i remember!! Homemade biscuits, muffins, and such... Very friendly wait staff..... and amazingly enough there was seats when we got there.... Wonderful stop as you head up the McKenzie river for a Sunday drive!!!

When you first walk in it'll scare you. doesn't appear any money has been expended for cleaning or "fixin's". Decided to try it anyway as it was recommended. Wow, food was great and served in overwhelming amounts. Prices run about 20% less than other restaurants or diners in this area. Great discovery. almost hate to write about it as it may cause more folks to go there and I won't be able to get quick service.

After driving passed this "shack" for many years I tried it after a friend said the food was good. It definitely doesn't have much atmosphere, but the food was great. We had three different burgers and they all were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back.

This a a typical diner , good food , traditional diner food . Only problem was I took my employee here and we were wearing company shirts and we spent more time there then we had time for . When we were done eating we sat for 8 minutes waiting for our check so we went to the register and waited in line to pay , probably another 5 minutes . Do not go here if you are on a time line

Robert Irvine would hemorrhage coming through the door, but he'd dance in the way out.The place is not pretty or particularly hygienic looking, but the service is great, the food is well above average, the servings are large, and the price is low. throw in the fact they give a military discount, and you get a four star place. I'd give it give if it were modern and clean.

I'm not much of a diner-type of gal, but since the company we had are more comfortable sitting in red-vinyl booths, we chose Addi's for breakfast. And I'm glad we went. The portions are HUGE and fare simple and good. Decor is fun and a throwback to yesteryear when diners were the norm. Did I mention the portions are BIG? My friend and I split a plate, and both of us left FULL. It was crowded and noisy and filled with laughter, which made the food taste even better. Kids welcome as are large groups. Just be prepared to wait for seating (not a big area) and bring your appetite and/or doggie bag.
