I was so happy with my first time dining experience at Cedars. The menu has a nice selection. The prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious!!! I ordered the fried tenderloin sandwich with fries and my husband ordered the breakfast chicken fried steak. My sandwich was huge. The tenderloin was twice the size of the bun. For my taste the fries could have been a little crisper but overall the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this establishment.

Been around since 1970's and it shows....huge menu always a red flag to me...looks like they don't put much back into the restaurant to update it. Carpets looked so worn and probably dirty. We had eggs and pancakes....they were ok....I would not go back...leave to the locals if they want it... I am sure there is a better part of Springfield, Mo which we didn't see...It's no accident that we've been here since 1970, as not many can make in in a market like this unless they're pretty special! I'm sorry you didn't fall in love with us. We are days away from our exciting remodel, I hope the next time you're in our lovely city, you drop back in and are wowed! Safe travels on your journey!

My wife and I went to Ziggieâs Cafe for breakfast. Upon entering, the establishment looked outdated and run down. We were seated and ordered. My wife ordered the Southern Platter and stated the ham tasted like grease and the tenderloin tasted like cardboard. The toast was burned. I went to the restroom and it smelled, trash was overflowing, floor was nasty and looked like a truck stop. The prices were very reasonable however you get what you pay for. Would not recommend.
