My wife and I decided to try Jerry's from the reviews on TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint! I had chicken fried steak and poached eggs. It was accompanied by hash browns that I added onions to and my wife had the farmer's market benedict. They both were delicious and perfectly prepared. Coffee was plentiful and the service was friendly and helpful. We will return soon. Glad we found this on TA.

This is the kind of place your Grandparents go for lunch. Middle of the road to bland seasoning with a large menu to choose from. Decent wait staff and relatively clean facility. Healthy sized portions and reasonably priced. Baked goods on display but unsure where they were made.

Walking through downtown Beloit, I stopped at a barber shop to inquire about a breakfast diner. D's Snack Shop was recommended, even though it was a few minutes drive from downtown on an off-the-beaten-path street. it was worth the drive. It is the oldest restaurant in Beloit, and it was packed. Full parking lot, very clean inside, homey decor. A full staff was on duty for Saturday morning brunch. I ordered "the mess". It was delicious, and filling. Surprised at the wait time for diner food.

I was in Rockton for a weekend reenactment at Macktown, and went to this diner for breakfast all 3 days I was there.They opened at about 6AM each day (Fri-Sun), and have a great choice on breakfasts on the menu. The owner was very friendly, the food was good, and the conversation made the stay enjoyable.
