Great food. Very "country" homestyle. I had meatloaf and husband had chicken fried stead. Both were very good. Mashed potatoes were delicious. So many different choices for sides. Didn't like the fried okra as the batter was too heavy.PIE!!!! We took a slice of coconut and chocolate back to the hotel for later. I had to make myself stop eating the chocolate in order not to eat all of it and be sick. It's one of the best I've ever had. Even the crust was delicious. Husband ate coconut and he could not eat all of his. Definitely a place we would love to return to.Friendly people and very good service.

I love an old fashioned Blue Plate Special and boy does the Cotton Boll do that well! I had the beef tips over rice with turnip greens and hot water cornbread and they were all delicious. The service was excellent and our food came out very quickly. I will definitely eat here again!

We ate there at about 12:20 and the parking lot was full of cars. Good Sign.. We seated ourselves and shortly our served came and got our drinks ordered. She came back and took the order. I had Sothern fried steak. It was OK. With it I got yams(had a little to much spice) black eye peas(also too much spice) and Mac and Cheese(very good). My wife had meat loaf which was very dry and tasteless. The veggies that she had were not very good. The corn bread muffin was very good. The service was very good.
