We enjoy the fare of the Waffle House Franchise. We stepped across the street from Econolodge. Since there were few customers, we struck up a conversation with the evening manager, who was helping with everything, and seemed on good terms with the staff. He is a drummer, who has played with name bands and travelled the nation. He is retired military, and seemed to reflect wide interests.Good food is nice, but when you can combine it with interesting contact, it's even better.

Stopped here on a family road trip to FL-have to say this was the prettiest and cleanest Waffle House I have ever been to. The cooks and servers were super kind, the food was good, fast and inexpensive like is expected at Waffle House. They apparently had gone through a renovation and everything was shiny, new, and spic and span clean. HIGHLY recommend stopping here if close by.

We stopped in here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We weren't expecting anything fancy and it was exactly what we thought. Small little place but the food was good. Great little local place. Service was a little slow and our drinks didn't get refilled. That was the only complaint. We will be back for breakfast because the food was good and it was local. My husband got an omelet and I got pancakes. The home fries were my favorite.

I absolutely crave the flavor of their chicken. It is very crusty and delicious. The tea is great as well. The dining area is very outdated but homey feeling.. I encourage you to give it a try
