Reviews on Diner food in Seattle, Washington, United States. In Seattle you simply can’t skip the Central Public Library – a modern architectural marvel of glass grids, unusual shapes, and a “book spiral” that climbs four stories. Stroll over to Pike Place Market to visit the original Starbucks and play catch with a fishmonger. In the heart of the city lies Chihuly Garden and Glass, which will dazzle you with its colorful and delicate works. Glide to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Puget Sound.

TheMecca Cafe opened in 1930, a year after our sister restaurant The 5 Point Café on Lower Queen Anne. They are the longest run family eateries in Seattle, and The Mecca is oldest bar & restaurant still in existence in Queen Anne. We started serving booze
We ate breakfast here twice while we were in town. Got there right after it opened. The decaf coffee was great - strong as I like it. Typical diner fare and the breakfasts were hearty. The waitstaff was attentive. Seems like a local place based on the conversations around us. Would recommend.

Geraldine's Counter Restaurant is a local favorite for brunch & breakfast in Seattle, also serving lunch and dinner with a full bar, beer and wine. Breakfast served all day. A contemporary but traditional diner, Geraldine's offers highly regarded versions
First time here as family were apartment shopping and thought we would grab breakfast here. Guaranteed wait to get in but worth it. Staff friendly and provided great service. Had the spinach goat cheese omelette with the added smoked salmon. It was wonderful. Only served breakfast and lunch but you can order anything on the menu all day long while theyâre open.

Nothing like the morning after a flight from Europe to give you the need for sustenance, and you'd probably find it hard to kick that jetlag harder in the teeth than to turn up just after opening, and hit your system with the fresh donut holes (with raspberry jam), a Sammy (with salad, if you are feeling "healthy"), and great coffee. If you really want to take the boat, push it as far out as you can and probably sink it, then the cinnamon roll is the answer.. be prepared to get that to-go-box, as it's is enormous and gorgeous.

Again visited this restaurant on our first day in Seattle! The setting is reminiscent of hippy sixties.... Even though it was near lunchtime, we were seated quickly amid a steady stream of patrons. The staff is very efficient, friendly and takes great care in serving well. The pancakes are wonderful, as is the Eggs Benedict. We plan on visiting this restaurant every time we are in Seattle!
