We stopped here after a long trip from Florida. The staff members were pleasant. The place is clean. It is a typical diner. But, I have never seen such a huge menu with so many choices. We both had Chicken Sandwiches and they were good. We also had the Combination Platter that had a lot of the appetizers they offer there. It was reasonable and the servings were generous. This is a good place to have a meal when you are on the go!

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon after cycling the IRT trail just a bit further south on Route 145. The dining area and bathrooms were clean and the service was prompt and efficient. We both ordered burgers, which were cooked to order, as well as an order of fries to share. Everything was fine, and might even stop by again if in the area, as the prices were reasonable, with the food good but average.

Looking for a place for breakfast other than the hotelâs breakfast. We settled on a diner. We always check reviews before going someplace new.We were not disappointed.Service was excellent.Food was plentiful and good.Warning the place can get crowded. So if you have to wait, it will be worth it!As we visit the area a couple times a year we may have found our breakfast spot.

This clean and spacious family restaurant (diner) has the traditional encyclopedic multi page menu and a very good senior menu which includes a salad or soup, entree, vegetable, and dessert, plus rolls and butter. The service is excellent... Two servers took care of its, brought fresh coffee before I asked, brought two kinds of dressing for my salad because I was having trouble deciding. Their friendly approach included many cozy questions about where we are from and what we are doing in Allentown.

Great food and excellent service in a nice and clean and friendly atmosphere. We had crab cakes (best we ever had), fried haddock dinner, salmon dinner, fish and fries, and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was well done and tasty. Salad bar had nice array of salads (macaroni, red beet, pasta,etc) as well as greens and veggies and a choice of 3 soups (lobster bisque was great) and breads. All fresh and tasty. The Boston Creme Cake and Cherry Cheesecake were also great. A busy Saturday night and our server was busy and we were seated along the back side of the bar and she was still able to be very attentive to our needs and we did not have to wait long for our food. Very pleasant experience.

We have gone to Norma J's a few times and are very pleased. The menu for breakfast is simple eggs, potatoes, meat, cheese, and toast. You will not get creative themed omelettes but you WILL get great food, huge portions, and some of the best customer service. The sausage is a homemade patty and although I don't eat meat everyone accompanying me loved it tremendously!!!Don't forget to bring cash and an appetite!Thank you Norma J's for giving us a great stop for breakfast when we want simple GREAT food.

We often stop here for breakfast when we are in the neighborhood. My wife loves this place because she can order a half portion of creamed beef on toast. The service is always excellent here and today was no exception. Kristine our waitress did an excellent job waiting on half dozen tables which it seem we all came in about the same time. She bounce from one table to another and kept us all happy. Kudos to her. My breakfast was eggs over easy and sausage. I have had omelet here and they are always good.
