Brunch after an early morning flight here was great. Staff were friendly and large portion sizes. This was easy to get to from the San Jose airport and gave us a great start to our California vacation. The cinnamon roll French toast was delicious.

Spam, eggs and rice is the best. I feel like I am in Hawaii when I come here. It's a great little local place that's been around for decades. You can go to coffee shops in SJ, but this is old school and it has a great atmosphere.

Unfortunately, there are only two spots left in San Jose, and the problem with his location is the cleanliness of the restaurant's seating. Between the transients, troublemakers, & etc. population coming in making a mess of the place the poor workers have a difficult time keeping up. I've been going here since they opened this location in the early 2000s. I just wait until I can go to the South San Jose location if I'm in the mood for Johnny Rockets.
