We stayed in Rock Springs, WY for two days visiting again based on a short prior stay. We stopped in at Broadway Burger Station for lunch. Terrific service with a smile, followed by a splendid hamburger. The decor is 1950's with fabulous movie posters, photos and two perfect jukeboxes. The burger of choice was The Leader of the Pack, a very good beef patty with three toppings of your choice on a warm bun with fries and a drink-all for 8 bucks. If you are on Rt. 80 and pass by Rock Springs, make a stop and enjoy a burger that tastes like they used to.

This is a neat local place if you're craving burgers and fries but want something better than fast food and passing through Rock Springs on a road trip. It's a 50's themed diner and they were playing "Earth Angel" and similar 50's hits overhead. It is not for those looking for a healthy meal :) And even they'll tell you it is not fast food so you might have to wait. It might take 15 or 20 minutes to get seated during peak times and you may need wait another 15 minutes to get your food. They don't have a ton of seating and its pretty popular with locals. We had burgers, fries and shakes. All very good. Their menu is pretty expansive if you want something else.It is reasonably priced but don't expect rock bottom prices. I think our burger and fries and a shake was around $12-$13. Their portions though are large and burgers are 1/2 pound. They have a reasonably kids menu and the kids burger was more like a normal adult size burger at many other places. Overall, a pretty good burger-fry meal and nice to avoid the chains on a road trip when you can.

Local-recommended, we really enjoyed our juicy, delicious burgers (messy, but yummy), w/her fries, my 1/2 of onion rings...and our server, 'Trina', was a bundle of cheery energy, making us feel like welcome guests ;-) Cute, nostalgic 'WYO' souvenir shops (Bi-Rite & Sweet Sage), too.

Stopped at rock springs for lunch...surprised that there were no obvious eateries in the Historic district. Made it to business loop 80 and found Grub's. It's a small place where the locals have been eating for many years. It's small and you have to walk through the kitchen to use the restroom. Burgers were good and the fries are fresh not frozen...walked by the BIG bin of peeled potatoes in the kitchen!

This is our second time to stop this year and this is a very busy location since it is a huge truck stop, store, filing station with a Denny's attached. Wait staff was friendly and the food came out as ordered and quickly. Excellent location with easy access to freeway.
