Orange Top Diner, Tuxedo, NYJust experienced a real rural town diner in Tuxedo yesterday. It was pretty simple with booths and table. Not very big as the NJ Diners are. Pretty straightforward menu. I had a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast it came with a thin pickle and a little container of coleslaw. My guest had a cheese omlette with hash browns and toast. It was decent both dishes. For dessert I had the chocolate crème pie and that was delicious. The waiter was nice and attentive. We were there after walking all over the NY Renaissance festival so Iâm sure a lot of the customers there were from the RenFest. The bathroom was a good size with one toilet for both Men and Women. It is needed there Iâm sure for people driving up state or to New England.

Stopped here for lunch and had a cheeseburger with mashed potatoes and gravy (instead of french fries). Menu was quite large, but I was really just craving a burger. It was all very good. The burger was delicious, actually and the waitress was very nice. Always good to find a good diner.

Great local diner for typical diner food with a twist. Come hungry, the portions are enormous. The best pancakes around for miles and they have 2 crazy challenges: A breakfast challenge and a burger challenge. I am sure a few have successfully completed it but my, oh my it is insane. They have great food but we noticed Sunday nights (not sure if it is the kitchen staff) are not as good. Great place to gather for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I canât understand the heat rating . Out of our 2 dishes neither was even âgoodâI had chicken salad pita with cheddar. It must have been microwaved... the cheese slices were semi melted and all else cold. The other dish was an omelette which was mediocre as well. The asparagus added didnât serve to be drained so it was watery. The only thing we liked were the zucchini sticks which came with the pita . It was busy .. so it took a while for the waitress to get back over to us so I could get sone lettuce do I could peel the half lard cheese off and make a sandwich. But the chicken salad lacked flavor with nothing added for taste. Worst meal Iâve had In a while .

We stopped in for a late lunch (around 2-3 pm) on the Saturday before Christmas and though it was crowded, were seated immediately. My wife chose the short stack of Chocolate Chip Pancakes, while I enjoyed their Ruben sandwich with fries. Both were delicious and quite the meal (large portions) and not expensive . The staff was friendly and courteous thus completing a nice meal. We will return.

When they were remodeling this place to become the "new" Ringwood diner years ago I was so excited that we may finally have a nice close place to eat breakfast or lunch but when we finally got to eat there I was very disappointed . Breakfast eggs and french toast were very bland or average at best and on another day me and my son had lunch and I had a chicken parm hero and it was 1 piece of fried chicken on a huge roll ..It tasted like cardboard ... I go to the Diner in Pompton Plains often even though it is further away and it has long wait lines to get in..It is always worth the wait because the food is excellent. This is why the Ringwood Diner is always empty. Very plain ,boring food. Prime location but always empty

We know it's tough to get out of the office for a long lunch. We're good at getting you quality food, fast. You can grab something cold from the fridge or order hot food from the counter. Casual shouldn't mean stale food options. Great taste is the name o
