Been coming here for years and years and any time Iâm in the area I stop in for some simple cookinâ and plenty of it. The portions are always huge and food is always good....not fancy by any means but it fills the stomach. I love the liver and onions or the Hot Roast Beef sandwich! The service is always good especially if you take a moment to talk to the staff. They respond in kind. More than 50 years going there and itâs always good, simple food.

Came here based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were greeted like old regulars and seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food choices are more than ample and we were very pleased with our dinner. I would have given it five stars had the green beans been fresh rather than canned. We would recommend this diner to anyone.

We often eat breakfast or lunch at the Snydersville Diner. This is a long standing, kind of old fashion diner, that offers quality food at a moderate price. We were a little disappointed with our last visit. The pancakes were a little heavy and the maple syrup seemed to be watered down. That is the first time in many years we were disappointed. maybe just one of those days. There pies are outstanding.

If you want the best breakfast in Stroudsburg, check out Compton's Pancake house for fresh omelets, all kinds of pancakes, breakfast steaks, and the famous Double "Triple Play". We have everything related to breakfast amd our meals are simply delicious. S
Our waitress was super happy. Food was good. We got the chocolate waffle and it was really dry. At least they offer REAL strawberries and the syrupy in a jar kind. My little one likes REAL strawberries. Coffee is acceptable. Bacon was amazing. It's disappointing that your chocolate waffles came out dry and I'm sorry about that. I'm happy you and your little one enjoyed the rest of your dining experience. I hope to be seeing you around soon.Thank you,Compton, Chef/Owner

We catch breakfast here often in summer, it's a classic diner menu-you can get a huge meal or one or 2 eggs and sides. Love it! And the charge is for what you want, so it's affordiable . Good homemade food at a good price. Not fancy, but not pricy and nicely done. Yum!

We do travel to the top of this hill to dine here because the seafood special, daily specials and sweet staff always brings us back. Especially love it when the warmer weather arrives because the ice cream shop is next door and cruisin' Friday nights are fun to sit and listen to live bands.Great place; try the ribs, turkey plate and haddock with Mac & cheese and sour cream cukes!

Just your basic diner food, made well, good prices, ample parking, decent customers, and friendly service. Inconsistent coffee quality - Sometimes hits the spot and sometimes too strong, almost burnt to the point that Iâll have the taste in my mouth well beyond the meal. But nothing else I would improve. Syrup is in individually servings which I like better than a sticky syrup carafe. Fried potatoes are actually fried a little crispy with some color to them. Baked goods are always fresh and eggs are large portion. Had a single serving upside down pineapple cake and it was moist with good flavor. Waitress was fast and checked on us often. Nice large north-facing windows to look out onto the roadway. I like that the menu is not 10 pages long and not in tiny font size so I can read it with ease.

My wife and I, after being local for over 20 years, about 3 miles away, have been there twice. This recent time for breakfast. My wife liked their French Toast....LIKED....I, on the other hand, really enjoyed their pork roll and egg, on a roll. Breakfast was definitely better than our dinner there, years ago, after Capital Pizza.
