We happened upon Bill & Franâs by happenstance on a road trip. While larger, it had a diner feel, with the grill cooking area open to the seating area. This led to some concern about possible noise, but that never proved an issue. The clientele seemed a mix of locals and travelers from the nearby Interstate, and likely little had changed in decades of operation.The two of us were looking for something light, so we violated our âruleâ of ordering what the restaurant seemed to be oriented towards; in this case, breakfasts and sandwiches. Rather, we ordered the B&F House Salad (iceberg lettuce, grilled chicken breast, ham, turkey, bacon, American cheese, tomato, onion, green peppers, and a hard boiled egg); and the Fuji Apple Salad with Grilled Chicken (spring greens, grilled chicken breast, apple, grapes, apple chips, dried cranberries, feta cheese, and pecans with an apple cider vinaigrette dressing). Both proved quite tasty . . . and huge. So much for a light lunch.With drinks, tax, and tip, the tab came to $26. Definitely worth it, and weâd not hesitate to stop back should the opportunity present itself.

Great burgers! I typically order the kids burger plate with slaw and onion rings. Just the right size...mini burger with chili and onions on a dinner roll!

Stopped by for breakfast while on business. Ordered eggs over medium with has browns and bacon. The hash browns were burnt and the eggs were so runny I didn't eat them. When I mentioned it to the waitress all I got was gee, I'm sorry. Been here before and it was pretty good. Oh, as I'm leaving the cook comes out of the restroom and never washed his hands. How do I know? The have a jet engine for a hand dryer and I never heard it as I was waiting. Nope, not coming back here again. Another thing, the staff was so loud it was crazy.
