We read the other reviews and walked around the corner from the Hotel Dupont & it's expensive breakfast offerings to try this Grille. It is very clean, the service is fast & friendly and the food is good. Couldn't ask for anything better when in the middle of a new town & wanting something other than a fast food breakfast.

Stopped for a quick breakfast on the way to Dover. Inside is old and dumpy. Menus were dirty. My husband ordered the hungry man breakfast with tea. The tea water was cold. Couldn't get the waiters attention so a waitress passed by and microwaved it. Everything on the hungry man breakfast was cold. It was like the breakfast items were pre-made and sitting under a light. There were many options in the area....I wish we would have gone somewhere else.

Good omlettes, excellent potatoes, great service and ok coffee. Nice environment and atmosphere. Especially perfect considering I needed a place for a bite getting my car serviced around the corner

Stopped in here one night for dinner with the family since we were in the area. We were seated immediately & given menus, although we don't need them. We ALWAYS order our favorites each time we stop in. Mine is the open faced hot turkey sandwich. Turkey here is REAL roasted turkey, which I have been told they roast in house daily. My husband loves the open faced roast beef sandwich. AND the kids love their pancakes. Breakfast is served ALL day here! After dinner, my husband ordered a HUGE slice of their banana cream pie to share with the kids. They all raved about how yummy it was!Service was friendly and pretty quick this time which was a pleasant surprise. Some of the waitstaff they have moves at a snails pace, but our waitress was excellent! Overall, another good experience with Cosmo's. Food was excellent as usual. Prices are average. Portion sizes are decent, but NOT huge. I actually do wish they gave us MORE mashed potatoes on the open face sandwich platters, as they are SO good!! Menu has a nice selection for a diner. They also have a specials board and a senior menu, which seems like a GREAT deal. I would recommend and we will be back!

Went for a late dinner on a recent Thursday evening. Most of the early diners had left so it wasn't too busy. We were seated quickly and drinks orders taken. The menu is extensive and varied and reasonably priced. I chose the turkey stuffing and gravy dinner, while my friends had beef sliders and crab cake sliders. The portions are HUGE , well presented and hot and tasty. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient.Drinks were top notch and not watered down. Would recommend and return but watch out for the huge portions. It seemed everyone was leaving with boxes!

Casual Breakfast/Lunch eatery owned and operated by the same family for over 35 years.
Was near our hotel (5 blocks) so we decided to try it for brunch. The walk there did take in the people highlights of homeless Wilmington, with a couple of beggars thrown in for good measure. They close at 1 PM on Saturdays, so we just made it. Food was good solid fare, with a limited Saturday menu, and not an extensive egg selection. Coffee was OK typical diner stuff. Service was very good and friendly. We were warned again about walking in Wilmington after dark, which we really appreciated. Restaurant is cosy and has a frindly vibe to it.
