I visited here twice during our stay in Mount Pleasant. The first, I had a Ruben and fries, best fries ever, and the sandwich was delicious and prepared just right. My service was fast, fresh, and friendly. It was 30 minutes before they closed and they were in no rush to get me out the door. My second visit was breakfast, the Swiss melt over hash browns and eggs, huge portion and it was also hot, fresh and delicious. The ladies that work here are like a well oiled machine, they are friendly, worked well together and was just a refreshing atmosphere.

My husband and I came here because he loves sausage gravy. He had an order which was huge and he thought it was average. I ordered eggs, toast, and bacon. Bacon had a nasty flavor, the eggs were (over med) snotty. The bread, homemade and was delicious. Probably won't return. There was also an obnoxious table of young ladies with foul language and playing tube videos loudly on there phones, it was extremely rude, I felt the staff should have asked them to tone it down a little.

We've eaten here many times and if we didn't have food vouchers I'd personally skip it. Food is just so-so, and sometimes not so great at all. Last time was one of the not so great. Husband ordered the Legendary breakfast (sometimes you get a fresh biscuit, sometimes you don't). The sausage links(he ordered patties) looked like in my husband's words, "a teriyaki stick" shrivelled and overdone. We never send stuff back but he did these and requested his patties instead (which we fine). I ordered the Chicken and sea platter. Two of the chicken planks looked burned one looked okay. They desperately need a new cole slaw recipe. Fish planks were blah. Shrimp was okay. Service is always pretty good. Took the chicken and fish home for my dogs. Best sandwich they serve is the Rueben. I did order a chocolate shake and that was very good.

We try to stop at a Bob Evans every trip north from Georgia. This time was lunch. I had beef soup & salad combo. Love the yeasty rolls; soup was very good & salad was crispy with wildfire ranch dressing. Husband had roasted chicken - also good. Attentive, pleasant staff

This is a fun place. Their burgers are quite good, although I'd skip the "dressing" on the house special burger which is nothing more than Miracle Whip. I thought the onion rings were quite good. The service was super friendly. It has a cool vintage vibe... I like it!
