We went to La Cabane dâà côté on a Saturday evening with our 12 yo so. It is, as I understand, a ârural spin offâ or âbranchâ of the famous Montreal restaurant Le Pied de cochon). The place was packed, so reservation is a must.It is located âin the woodsâ, but still with an easy access, and part of the lovely region of Saint Joseph and Saint Benoît, which is full of nice little hills and charming curvy roads (but not so hard to drive). The concept of this restaurant can be best described as: âa reinvented and - very - upscale version of the traditional French Canadian âSugar Shackâ. There is only one pre-determined set menu served to all guests, but everything is so good that itâs not a problem. They serve lots of food, I mean lots and lots of it, divided in many plates, but, contrary to similar restaurants these are not âsmall tasting platesâ, but, rather, each of them is a full-blown serving, in of itself, so I would strongly recommend to eat lightly during your meal prior to your visit. It is a truly gargantuesque experience. Every single plate was âvery goodâ, and at least two or three of them very simply âfabulousâ, including some of the best vegetables I have had in my entire 47 years of existence, including the last 12 or so during which I have had the chance to experience top level restaurants around the world. The service is friendly, informal and laidback, while still being attentive and top notch.Like almost anything else in life that offers such a level of quality, the end result, in terms of billing, doesnât come cheap, but it was well worth it. Once you account for alcohol, for the very high sales tax of the Province of Quebec and for a proper tip, expect a total bill, between 125$ to 150$ per person, or maybe a little less if you skip the more expensive (but exceptionally good) cocktails they offer.

This is the little brother restaurant of the Cabane à Sucre du Pied de Cochon. The setting is really nice amid an orchard but also smaller and more personal. A few tables sitting 8 people with servers/cook running around the place. There is no wall delimiting the kitchen and you can actually get up and cook your bread on their oven amid the cooks, Lots of servings made with fresh ingredients and large portions. Great service and really fair prices considering the quality.

Traditional "mom & pop" sit-down and takeout restaurant, serving the best poutine in the north crown of Montreal.
The best poutine in the area. Lots of variety and big plates. Go there between rush hours if you want to sit and enjoy your poutine regular or with special additions on it ! Service at the table.
The NO.900 pizzeria is proud to offer the best Neapolitan pizza in the area. The one that remains made in the rules of art, shaped with the expertise of a pizzaiolo. We take pleasure in bringing the traditions of Naples up to date and make you discover th
Small restaurant located in the middle of a commercial mall type zone. Great offering of Neapolitan pizza that is very close to the real thing. All pizza are made from fresh ingredient. Service is great with killer wine list. Prices are fair for quality of food.
