Our meal was breakfast. How can you go wrong? What we got, as we were about 25th and 26th in line prior to the 8 a.m. opening, was quickly seated, watered and order taken. Not sure how big their grill was but the plates started showing up in about 20 minutes and ours reasonably delivered. What we noticed was the coffee cups being filled, water glasses the same, tables cleared and plenty of help to accommodate the crowd. As we left, they had placed a "kiosk" at the entrance and a "matre d" advising of "next seating times" and taking names. Well organized and worth your visit. (Just get there early!)

Winter drive today but s must motorcycle ride from Leavenworth during the summer. Great twisty road. Ok food, smells like BBQ mainly brisket. There is elk and buffalo on the menu. What's the dinner special waitress says chef hasn't figured that out yet. What ever it will be it will be scrumptious. Great metropolitan location. We will be back!

We were recommended to try this diner as we were heading to the bonkers kitch-Bavarian town of Leavenworth. We were shown to a booth and given water but no menus. We waited ... and then we waited some more. Undaunted, I went to help myself. We ordered shakes - banana and espresso. The shakes were huge although the banana was syrup rather than fruit. BLT for me - heavy on the bacon but rather too carbonised on the bread. My wife had a cheese burger which was OK, after hauling out the slab of onion. Service was rather half-hearted, with an absence of smiles and banter. The shakes moved it into the âvery good categoryâ - the food and service would rate as âsatisfactory at bestâ.
