Waiting on the street on Saturday morning was quick. Sat at the bar and chatted with staff and other patrons. Husband had breakfast burrito and I had the stack, both outstanding! We only ate half and save the rest for later that day. Only had to pay for one meal out.

American favorites, home style cooking with a modern twist. Voted as one of the best breakfast restaurants in Wyoming! The Chuckwagon has been in operation since 1968. Steaks, Burgers, Breakfast, salad bar, sandwiches, and pasta! Authentic Sicilian style
We were traveling west on I-80 and searched Trip Advisor for a restaurant as we passed by Laramie. The Chuckwagon was really close so we stopped for a quick lunch. The outside looks a little rough but the food was very good. I had the bison burger while my wife had a regular hamburger. If I had to choose I would go with the hamburger, it was excellent. The fries were the thin cut style, while I prefer a more thicker home-style cut.Restrooms weren't great but I didn't spend a lot of time in there.Hello thank you for your review, yes...the building is very old, restaurant has been open for 65 years now. We chose to invest money in the kitchen first, this week we are working on the bathrooms......next summer we will work on the outside.

The service was great. The buffet had a decent selection but was a bit messy and not kept very clean. The overall environment was dated and a bit dirty and could use an upgrade. For what it is, and if there is a huge appetite, it's a solid value. For light/regular eaters, the value isn't as solid.
