In the Kronberg old town. Sit outside on the nice terrace amongst the half timbered homes. The inside is designed more like a club than a cafe (lime green). Service is good (not great) and friendly. No English menu. Selections are varied from breakfast, salads, pasta, traditional dishes and some more international dishes (curry). I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Good. Fresh. Chicken well prepared. Would be better with Less dressing, homemade croutons and shaved Parmesan.

Nach einer ausgiebigen Besichtigungstour in Bad Homburg besuchten wir dieses Restaurant auf der Rückfahrt nach Kronberg. Das Ambiente ist recht nett, eine gemütliche Wirtsstube in einem Landgasthaus. Es gibt such einen kleinen AuÃenbereich. Man sitzt angenehm und entspannt. Die Gerichte sind urig und derb, echt hessisch halt. Aber durchaus wohlschmeckend. Es ist bemerkenswert, dass es fünf Sorten Bier vom Fass gibt, ebenso wir der Apfelwein. Der Wirt bedient selbst. Da gibt es nix zu meckern. Preis/Leistung stimmt.

The food was really good and the service was great until the waitress finished her shift. After that the service was terrible. No one approached to ask if we wanted more drinks, desert, to pay for at least an hour. Nothing. We were thinking maybe it had turned into a self service restaurant! I would go back for the food...but definitely not for the service.
